Cant wait for jax buffalo. So much hype around jax right now, rightfully so and at the same time everyone says now or never for buffalo. Bout to find out how good jax really is.
I've seen Josh Allen on the road in the playoffs.

There will be upsets galore this weekend and throughout the playoffs.

If the Pats were to make the Super Bowl, I don't want them play anyone they've played previously in those games during the BB years. Let's have someone different. I don't want to see LA Rams, Panthers, Seahawks and Eagles.

If Buffalo has any shot, they will ride or die with James Cook like Denver did with Terrell Davis in 1997.

Ditto with Philly in Barkley.

Denver is going to get favorable matchups in round 2 if Jacksonville beats Buffalo and NE beats LAC. AFCCG is where you could see the let down with them.

Seattle is garbage and their worst nightmare is facing the Rams again in the 2nd round. They are my most likely early exit.

What’s the most intriguing matchup of the Wild Card round for you & why?..
Buffalo at Jacksonville. Because it will determine our next opponent if we get past the Chargers, as I expect we will.

In the NFC I think Eagles - Niners, because it looks like a challenging matchup for the reigning Super Bowl champs who have not looked very convincing recently. They may well go one and done, but that doesn’t affect us directly until much farther down the road so it’s nowhere near as interesting as the Jags game.

Agreed. Jags/Bills is my favorite due to the AFC implications & it’s also a matchup we don’t see often; especially in Jacksonville. PHI/SF is my second. SF can certainly win, but I just don’t see how they stop the run with a depleted defense…and if they sell out & load the box for Saquan, AJ & Smitty will kill them. SF should have LT Williams & WR Pearsall back this go round…we shall see…it’s gonna be a good one.

I feel like Liam Cohen will out coach McDermott & Campanile will scheme up some of that Fangio/Flores magic against Allen.

Im hoping Jags/Bills cam be as epic as that Steelers/Ravens game last night. Should be very entertaining.

I am trying to pick at least 2 upsets. With 6 game there should be 2. I'm not sure which i think will happen.

I know the Eagles are a favorite... but as bad as their offense has been, i just don't know.

Current picks

LAR 34 CAR 20 - Just won't be close. If LAR lose it be an epic choke. If he wins MVP and loses this one... what do you even say to that?

GB 23 Bears 20 - GB has every reason to lose and no momentum. But i think this is their last gasp. They are done next round no matter who they play and the Bears being so uneven catches up with them. This is one of those 'somethings got to give' games. Either the Bears pay for being so inconsistent or GB pays for going into the playoffs with a whimper. I pick the bears to pay.

Bills 30 Jax 27 - Jax has been hot lately, But something about them feels not right. Just don't trust Lawrence to keep up his play. I don't think they are talented enough on offense and their D feels suspect... They've done well recently vs some of the worst Os in the NFL... but were lit up in the past by legit units.

SF 27 Eagles 20 - I know the Eagles D is good.. but i think their offense leaves them on the field and i don't trust Hurts to take care of the ball... the massive super bowl hang over comes to a close on this upset. UPSET 1.

Pats 30 LAC 23 - i'll get into this later in more detail. But yeah... Pats too complete, LAC has holes.

Texans 24 Steelers 10 - I just think the Texans crush the Steelers. I think old man Rodgers gets a hard send off into retirement. multiple turnovers turn into easy points. Complete ass kicking.

So for now while i think there should be 2 upsets... I only have 1.. Maybe GB is so bad and out of sorts they lose? IDK.

2) Rams get a bit of a break in their matchup with Carolina. I honestly would have much rather Tampa make the playoffs from a fan perspective, but IIWII…Should be a blowout. Rams easy..

Panthers beat them 31-28 on Nov 30. At the time it was the Rams 3rd loss. I think the Panthers will play a lot tougher that you do.

No way Purdy wins in Philly

No way Purdy wins in Philly
Supposedly Purdy is fine for the playoffs, despite suffering a stinger (non-throwing arm) on the last play of the last game, plus lingering turf toe. “Fine” for Purdy may not be good enough to win in Philly, plus those injuries do leave some questions.

OTOH the Iggles have not exactly been the model of consistency recently.

I would not call either team winning an upset in this game.

I agree with you, but I think the Steelers get absolutely blasted in this one
I heard an interesting stat yesterday . Steelers have never lost on MNF since 1991 . Also i dont trust nick caley. I think the steelers can win in the cold vs a dome team. Way too much hype on houston.

HOU is a good matchup for PIT, not great.

Of course, we would love PIT to win so that HOU is out and we have PIT for our second game.

We may not have PIT for our second game. We might have the Jags while PIT plays Denver, if the Bills don’t win.

Denver’s possible opponents are the Bills if they win, or the winner of the HOU / PIT game. Not sure which of those three I’d like to see them play.
