I know as Pats fans many here think there is no way a team would want to play us intentionally, but it's entirely possible.
Jax is no easy matchup.

I actually agreed with going for 2 if that’s what you’re referring to. Called it earlier in the 4th quarter. I would have done it too.

On that 2 pt conversion, which I agreed with as well, Josh just missed the throw. Dude was open by a couple of yards along the back of the end zone, Josh just missed it.

I am in the minority I am sure but I think that McDermott is a good coach. Why does everyone clown him, legit question because I assume that I am missing something.

Extremely odd for Harbaugh to telegraph this so early in the week. Given he has no morals or ethics this must be for a reason. I’d take this as meaning he wants to lose to play us rather than Jacksonville?

It’s fascinating that two out the three potential wild card teams are more focused on trying to make sure they play the Pats rather than get the 5 seed and play Balt/Pitt.

Well..
Some teams match up better than others.
The playoffs are a gauntlet.
Maybe your a team that is bad against the run (Buff) and you don't want to play your first of potentially 4 games having to try and tackle Derrick Henry for 4 quarters.
I don't think that's necessarily losers mentality, maybe it's just thoughtful planning.

I get what you’re saying but to me teams should have confidence to play whoever ends up on their schedule. I have a feeling Houston doesn’t care who they play, which ever QB they play they are going to punish. Also you can make all these plans to throw the game and another game goes a different way you were thinking and now your playing the team you didn’t want to play anyways.

I think this is exactly the case. Harbaugh is nuts to show this kind of disrespect publicly. McDermott is going to be sneaky about it. I always love those “oh you wanted us?” playoff games.

I think he doesn't want to expose Herbert to Denver's pass rush as he's been getting his ass kicked all year. They must be content on playing NE if they have to travel to either Buffalo, Jacksonville or NE. It will be an interesting game because the Pats got their asses kicked by LAC last year. Time to return the favor.

Bills are absolutely not going to tank the Jets game on purpose so they can play a division rival on the road who just ended their reign atop the East and has absolutely nothing to lose this playoff season. That’s not happening. McDermott isn’t that stupid.

Is it disrespect or is he giving his QB with a broken hand time off. He walked off the field a couple times against Houston holding his left hand and a look of pain on his face.

Beat the Chargers in Jackonsville (Chargers didn't play well traveling to the east coast this year, Lost to the Giants & needed a last second FG vs the Dolphins)
Went to OT with the Cardinals
Beat the Titans
Beat the non Daniels Jones lead Colts twice (who are on 1-7 run right now)
Beat the Jets


Genuinely think the Bills probably don't care who they have to play because they have to go on the road regardless and I think if they had a gun to their head they'd probably rather play the Jaguars since we've seen them twice beat them in their building and got out to a 24-7 lead and it took some bad officiating that aided them
