You can’t sit the starters this early. What happens if the Jets somehow come back against the back ups. You risk injuries more by forcing the starters to come back in after sitting for an hour or more than if they continue to play.
As soon as the Jet's come back you put them back. I wouldn't wait for a come back. I said until they sniff a 1st down, not till they take the lead. Now the jets are on the board. Had they went 3 and out again I woulda sat them.
