*waits for the flurry of 'trap game's posts - made even funnier because they're just recycling the posts from the last game*

Why do you want someone to bail out the Dolphins?

Extreme stupidity must be punished.
Either way, they are stuck with being so cap strapped that they have to give up many good players with Tua. We can only hope their next GM is as terrible as the last one.

Trade Hill and this is all doable. Hill won't want to stay on a team that will take a couple of years to be competitive.
What do you think Hill’s market for a trade partner is? (I’m not being snide. I legit don’t know what kind of market he’ll have.)

This. The team trading for him will be responsible for 36 million in base salary i think?

For a guy coming off his 2nd season ending injury in 3 years, production falling off a cliff.

Any news on the injured from Sunday's game?

In a sense, it doesn't really matter. MIA needs the cap relief and moving on from Hill provides it even if he is cut. The cap cut can be spread over two years, same as Tua's.

The coach should go also. They can then focus on finding a new young QB and being competitive in 2028 or 2029. They need to start a rebuild. The Tua decision was a failure. They need to eat the loss and move on.

I think McDaniel has to go, too, but if they can't get the QB in this draft, it might make sense to keep him for a year, and then get the HC and QB in 2027.

Just saw that it's confirmed that Boutte and Henderson are both in the NFL's Concussion protocol.

Wilson apparently is in protocol as well.
I don't know how that happened - didn't he finish the game?
Hendo looked pretty shaken up. But Boutte's was probably minimal.
Still, I expect both to miss the Jets game. It will give Rham a lot, and maybe Johnson some reps.
And KW should get a lot more live game reps with Maye.
Oh, and didn't Pop have a "head injury" too?

We will now address him only as “Pro-Bowl QB Drake Maye..”
