How about DPI? Defender got there early.lol so you think multiple flags got thrown casually and then the league told them to give OPI ?
Like I said you can disagree with the call and chalk it up as a bad ref decision but what else do you think they threw the flags for?
I tend to think that was always the call because I'm not sure what other call there was to make there with the timing of when the flags hit the field. The discussion was probably originally about whether or not they wanted to keep the call or pick up the flag, since it was a very weak OPI call, and then about Goff's scoop and score, and then they had to consider how to handle the fact that time expired... etc.Did they?
They threw a flag, they didn't make a call until after they talked to New York. We have no idea if that was the actual penalty, because if it was, they need to start calling PI on every hail mary.
St Brown ran right into him and pushed off, It was a pretty easy OPI call. If your talking about the last play for Detroit. If you weren't talking that play I will see myself out.It wasn't much of a penalty if it was one.
NFL stepped in before they even made a ruling on the field. The type of **** that makes me question why I still watch.
So why wouldn’t they call that and give the lions the chance to reject it?How about DPI? Defender got there early.
They are now calling OPI like they used to call it on GronkSt Brown ran right into him and pushed off, It was a pretty easy OPI call. If your talking about the last play for Detroit. If you weren't talking that play I will see myself out.
Back then he was the only one who got called like that. They are now calling OPI like they used to call it on Gronk
Exactly this, hence no issue with the discussion around the logistics and making sure if goff scored or not.I tend to think that was always the call because I'm not sure what other call there was to make there with the timing of when the flags hit the field. The discussion was probably originally about whether or not they wanted to keep the call or pick up the flag, since it was a very weak OPI call, and then about Goff's scoop and score, and then they had to consider how to handle the fact that time expired... etc.
That’s the pointBack then he was the only one who got called like that.
Makes the 21-0 collapse at home vs BUF that much more costly.
Could not agree more.Depth was going to be an issue. I applaud leadership for fielding a team that has gone 11-3 after two pitiful years in a row. But injuries to frontline players like Williams, Spillane, and Campbell are tough to overcome when you haven’t yet filled out the roster. When Davis was out, CB depth was tested as well….
My hope is that NE’s stars can overcome this deficiency and - if not - that the offseason takes another positive step.
KC is trending that direction too.More than likely. Gotta host a Super Bowl
No one in the AFC is a sure thing thus everyone is a problem. Those who are playing well pose more of a problem. Not convinced this is what they can bring to the table consistently. If so, yes indeed they’re a problem. But until they prove this is really them, I will be watching…
