OT: Don’t kill me, but I need guidance

Welcome to Fantasy Football. We all have stories on “if” we played a guy who rode the bench all year. No one would have started Lawrence this week over Maye.

I came very close to starting Lawrence just on the basis of his opponent - the Jetes make all opponents better!

As things turned out I spoke too soon, the late game saved me. I had Javonte Williams, he scored 15.10 for me. My opponent had Justin Jefferson who scored 2.20 for him. I won by 1.14…

Jefferson killed me in my keeper pool playoff. Was down and needed 18 by Achane tonight and got 17. Lost by 1. Jefferson’s 3 pts didn’t help me at all. Boutte was my other WR and did nothing also.

In my regular pool I survived. Guy I played had Pittsburg D tonight but he couldn’t catch me. O have Diggs on this pool and he’s been disappointing. Might have to switch to Godwin.

I’m in the final of my pool, and for the first time all season I think I’m gonna bench Josh Allen and start Maye. Allen’s 6 pts last week was brutal and I’m lucky the guy I played **** the bed last week.

This pool has been going since the early 90’s when I was a teenager, when me and bro would get pen and paper and do the scores from the sports section of the newspaper. In 2007 I had Brady, Tomlinson, and T.O and went undefeated in the regular season, only to get upset in the playoffs.
