OT: Bengals Didn't Even Bother Clearing The Seats For Fans Today

I remember the post blizzard game in Foxboro vs. the Dolphins in 2003 where like 15k of us showed up and there was about four feet of snow that fell the night before into the morning. They weren't able to clear out snow in large sections just because of the shear volumes of snow in the stadium, but there were plenty sections that were completely cleared where everyone who wanted a seat had one.

The Bengals are too cheap to even clear that snow which was a fraction of what was there in the game in 2003.

Burrow gets traded this offseason

I was there. Our section, 227, was completely drifted over. I think the crowd was more than 15k, though. I do recall walking to the stadium through drifts and thinking about turning back.

Supposably Burrow doesn't want out of Cincy. He just wants the the FO/coaches to [paraphrasing] do their ****ing jobs.
The best thing for him is to get out. The Bengals are who we think they are.

Some animals are not meant to be caged. Time for him to embark on the path of Carson Palmer.

Arizona will need a QB...but the Bidwells are arguably worse than whatever the **** is going on in Cincy.

Their owner is absolutely something else:

Everyone who craps on Kraft supposedly being cheap has no idea what a lousy owner is. This is just another in a long line of examples of just how cheap Mike Brown is. As recently as a year ago Bidwill was (may still be) charging players for food. Both of their teams play in publicly funded stadiums

Anyone ****ting on Kraft also has a short memory. Our own ownership was ****ing awful right before Kraft.

Yeah, I think the Bidwells are still doing it. The only reason AZ doesn't get the same **** as the Jest is because it's a backwater media market by comparison. That's another truly snake-bitten franchise.

On the topic of the Cardinals.... if even the thought/idea/rumor/whatever that you would put into your QB's mega-extension language detailing that he has to STUDY THE PLAYBOOK... maybe don't give that dude a mega-extension. That that rumor was even floated suggests that there might be something seriously wrong with that guy.

These guys need to think of this when they sign these huge deals. Bengals... Jete... Cards... Some of these owners are bad news and have no idea how to build a winning culture.

Those owner$ win con$i$tently, the NFL money trucks roll up to their doors like clockwork.

Indeed, the Sullivans did everything on the cheap, to everyone's detriment, including their own.

Pats players were out there shoveling snow off the seats at Fenway before a big nationally televised game in the AFL.

105 seasons, 2 NFL championships. One of which is disputed and the original Cardinals owner actually refused to accept it feeling the NFL commissioner made a mistake - but the Bidwill family immediately claimed it after buying the team. Just the one Super Bowl appearance. Longest championship drought in all North American professional sports. 2nd worst franchise winning percentage of all active clubs ahead of only the Bucs, who have as many championships as they do in half the time. All in all, probably the worst franchise in the league.

I was there too. Had to rappel down to our seats. I remember the stadium being more than half full.

But they are doing their jobs, in accordance with what the owner tells them to do.
