Refs weren't the reason why we lost today. Marcus and Davis penalties were both legit. Majority of the calls were legit. We got a TD from a missed call in the first half. It evened out imo.

The refs actually are the reason they lost.

It snot a legit penalty because he didn't MOVE the defender.

I've heard 10 million times you can grab the waist as long as you don't dictate the direction of the receiver.

Which TD did we get from a missed call?

The one on the first drive?

That's on the bills coach for not challenging it. They get no sympathy from me for not being ready to throw the flag.

He can be better, and hopefully will be. How there's not more vitriol directed at Schooler is beyond me, I can point to 4 ****ups that cost the Patriots points, almost directly.

Yeah he played poorly today as well. Only dude who played well today is Hendo. Thats it as far as my list goes.

Amount of vitriol against is Maye is funny. Could he have done better today? Ofcourse. But you know hes dealing with a corpse of a team when he has to play perfect for them to win.

Don't want to be that guy, but this is on the officials. Plain and simple. Hard to get stops on defense when all of your stops get deleted. Gross stuff.

And this is why I didn't watch. I just got out of the hospital after a 6 day stint inside with Pneumonia, my blood pressure is already high enough. I don't need to waste 3 hours watching my beloved team get ****ed over by the league.

Truth is that Maye has consistently not done well in the clutch when losing with the time running out.
Top qbs are very very clutch period.

This has been a flukey year. They are a good ascending team but were never going to be serious SB contenders

Brendan Schooler's meathead ass can go kick rocks for all I ****ing care - overran every single return, the facemask penalty, useless as a gunner - if he wasn't healthy he shouldn't have played. He literally has ONE job, and he failed spectacularly.

Sure. Completely fair criticism. I'm just saying Drake Maye's not the reason the Patriots lost. Hell the block he tried to throw 50 yards downfield with 6 minutes to go on the go-ahead Henderson run really is enough to take him out of Blame Pie Slice #1.

The Pats scored 31 points on offense and lost.

Certainly there were things they could have done better, but I am not blaming the offense.

Stop being like other teams fans…stop blaming the refs…yeh some calls were bad but that first long reception by NE wasn’t a reception. It goes both ways but when you ***** about the refs it sounds stupid. Pats lost this fair and square, the defense wasn’t ready for prime time and neither was the offense. It sucks but it isn’t over either. But Allen really doesn’t have very good receivers and figures it out, while I dont really blame the game on Maye he had some plays where he could have made a different decision that would have been better. The defense is what will cost the Pats a playoff game. Pats still going to be in the playoffs and that’s amazing.

I'm tempted to agree - He had a couple of good years as the special teams designee, but he's been doing this **** all year, and they finally played a team that had half a clue on kick returns.

The cope in here is unbelievable...it's the refs! If Allen plays a good pass rush he's dead! This game was a big eye opener. In key situations all second half Maye looked lost. Guys were not beating man, line couldn't hold up, and there was absolutely nothing available deep. This game was the blueprint - and Buffalo didn't have their best corner. Maye needs to go back to the drawing board. I hope this is just a hiccup but if we see another panicked sub par performance from the franchise qb next week he could end up being more Mac Jones rookie year fools gold than a consistent top 5 QB. Drake Maye looked scared in the second half.
