Light on the hose water - heavy on the latchkey - let's just say my parents were 'early adopters'.

The Buffalo game is going to come down to just a couple things...

- Keep pressure on Allen ... hurts that Milton Williams is out ... need a 007 backer on him so he doesn't run wild... he doesn't need to rush for 80 yards in a game to be effective either... in three of their four losses, he converted only 2 first downs on the ground... when he converts 4 first downs on the ground, the bills have won...

- bottle up James Cook ... when he gets going, the rest of the bills offense follows... runs well and catches nearly everything thrown his way... can be scary good... though, he can be stopped... averages over 100 ypg... in three of the four buffalo losses, he was held to under 100 yfs (run/pass yards from scrimmage)...

- Stopping Dalton Kincaid... last time we played them, he made the secondary look "duane starks is starting" bad... went 6/6, 108 yards... 5 first downs conversions ... 18 ypc ... only saving grace was no TDs...

Spot on. Kincaid is still out? Didn't see him play last week.. everything you said is spot on accurate.. Allen utilized his TEs heavily in the pass game..

On defense as you mentioned controlled rush.. keeping Allen in the pocket.. tonga,Durden, Barmore, Gregory will be a handful inside against Buffalos OL even though it sucks not having milt they can hold up!

Ellis, Marty or Woodson, Hawkins spy Allen

Mix up.. man/zone/shell coverage.. force Allen to throw outside the numbers.

On 3rd down Marcus on Shakir and, or Hawkins or Woodson on knox.

On offense..

Spread Buffalo out.. Henderson on stretch runs to stress buffalos front, utilize Henry and Hooper against thier LBs.. diggs in the slot, Boutte on the perimeter..

On 2nd and short look for Williams to get deep to stretch buffalos secondary..

Most importantly some designed runs for Drake in the red zone and control the clock with rham and Henderson

Patriots 27-20...

D Kincaid played on Sunday: had some Big catches... other TE Dawson Knox almost punched his HOF ticket against the Bengals D. Dawson Knox have been known to gash us in the past.

This is an excerpt from a John Breech post for CBS Sports. I'm afraid it represents my thoughts exactly. I will be ecstatic to be proven wrong on Sunday.

"I'm not totally shocked to see that the Patriots are an underdog here and that's mostly because I'm still not sure how good they are. For the most part, I feel like I can tell if a team is any good after FOURTEEN WEEKS, but with the Patriots, I still have no idea. There are 14 teams in the NFL this year with eight or more wins and the Patriots have somehow only faced one of those teams (They beat the Bills 23-20 back in Week 5).

There are nine teams averaging more than 25 points per game this year, the Patriots have faced exactly one of them (The Bills). There are 13 defenses in the NFL giving up less than 22 points per game and the Patriots have faced ZERO of them. I think what I'm trying to say here is that the Patriots haven't really been tested."

We need to Run Henderson like Buffalo runs James Cook. Quit that up the middle crap with Henderson.

Thanks..I thought he was still out.. yeah Allen knows how to utilize those TEs.. we are going to have to come up with a plan to deal with them...

Yes C. Bradbury is solid but not a road grader.. we need to use rham for to punish Buffalo smallish LBs and rham gets redemption from his last game in Buffalo..

Well the Patriots didn't make their own schedule. We are playing a last place schedule: which we have taken advantage of. That said the Bills Defense is not very good so they are overrated. I expect Maye to carve them up better than what Burrow almost did.

I expect a Big Game from S Diggs on Sunday. I know he hasn't forgiven them for Trading him. Buffalo have been trying to replace him ever since.

I hope so. It's the defense I worry about. Is a man to man realistic with Gonzo on Kincaid, Davis on Knox and Marcus on Shakir, and everybody else on Josh Allen?

We need our LB's and Safeties to play the Flats well. Allen gets a lot of ridiculous yards on checkdowns. They should change Allen's name to "checkdown charlie".

Wouldn't it be wise to give OG Jared Wilson another week off just as a precautionary?? Have him ready for the Ravens next week.

Buffalo has faced only 2 - 8 win teams this season and lost both.

The 9 Buffalo wins are vs the Ravens, Jets, Saints, Panthers, Steelers, Bengals, Buccaneers, Chiefs and Dolphins who are all sub .500 teams.

The Ravens are on the brink of missing the post season.
The Steelers QB has a broken wrist.
The Chiefs are on life support.

I dont know who the Bills are.

1.5 is the new homefield spread. Has been all of this year.

We coud quibble about whether the new home field is 1.5 or 2.5 but that would be missing the unspoken point that we agree on. The once ubiquitous home field 3 point spread has become an increasing rarity. Full slate of games this week and currently out of 16 home teams there's only one possessing a 3 point spread. One where not that long ago there'd have been half a dozen or more

The LBs and Safeties have gotten significantly better since the last Buffalo game.. Ellis have turned into an excellent player.. Hawkins have been good and rookie Woodson... making Allen check down is win, win, win.

I had that thought too about gonzo on Kincaid.. none of bills WRs warrants Gonzo's coverage he should be on Kincaid he's the bills biggest receiver threat..

I say yes!! He will likely be back before Campbell twin I'm telling you.. I don't anticipate seeing Campbell this season.. a MCL tear is not a sprain.. any ligament tear will sideline an NFL player for some time.. 4-6 was recovery time.. then he has to rehab... Lowe better continue to step up!

Game could also come down to a game like this one...
