This young WR core is getting slept on

Getting humbled could be great for him if he handles it properly.

He has talent.

Kayshon Boutte did some soul searching and realized he needed to grow up, and he did.
IF Javon Baker had talent he would be on a Active Roster nuff said!! Let's not kid ourselves WR's Bust a lot and we Drafted the two worst last year.

Personally I don’t think Chism will ever get beyond where he is now. What’s holding him back is not development, it’s innate athletic talent or lack thereof. So I’d gladly swap him for Baker as soon as I’m convinced Baker has got his ego under control and his head screwed on straight, because I think Baker has talent that just needs to be harnessed and developed.
Nice take: go ask those people about their previous takes on Kayshon Boutte; Maye's favorite WR Target. Remember we have Diggs and Pop Douglas in the Slot: Chism is not needed at this time.

He sucks. No.

Baker costs no draft capital, and has the talent if he has grown up.

He has been in two different organizations and has seen what the NFL is like.

He has more talent in his little finger than JayLynn Polk.

You don’t know what a player will be like going from college to the pros.

If Baker wants another chance there is no downside.
I would prefer Tyquan aka Bony T.

Who is Javon Baker? Name sounds vaguely familiar, but can't quite place it.

Fk Baker, attitude is sht.
All set with that loser.

I freely admit that I sometimes Pop into my recliner and sleep on my Booty while Barefoot. I Diggs naps

So you live in my head And know what I was thinking?

No, I just visited -- too messy and cluttered to establish residency. (You really oughta tidy things up in there.)

I'm personally of the belief that I'd rather have a bunch of guys that 'just get open somehow'. This obsession with some unicorn of a #1 receiver is weird to me. It SEEMS influenced by fantasy and betting. For those purposes, yeah, a receiver room full of viable targets suuuuuuuuucks. Nobody's getting fed the ball and putting up those numbers.

But from a football perspective? A group of guys that can just get open means you're completing at a high percentage, you're moving the chains consistently, and you're keeping the defense honest.

I accept you conclusion that we can do without than having one or two WR's who always want and need to get the ball.
=========================
I guess that it is fine to have many targets producing all the results by spreading around the work. But, let's be clear, our receiving game is about much more that our top 3 WR's. We have our top 2 TE, plus Henderson and Stevenson.
=========
Our #4 and #5 receivers produce almost nothing unless one or two of the top receivers are out.

For years folks have told me the importance of our #4, #5 and even #6th WR. I have never bought in, except for having a reasonable #4 in case of injuries.

I hadn't noticed Williams as being a pro-bowl level slot receiver.
Diggs didn’t become a Pro Bowler until his sixth season in the NFL… have some patience.

yes, Pop is our backup slot receiver and could replace Diggs when he leaves. or not.

For now, Douglas is, along with Wiliams, one of our backups
Sure, because they’re deep, spreading the ball around and using them all. Bottom line Pop is an incredibly tough cover in short space.

Curious who you think doesn’t produce unless the top 1 or 2 are out?
Looks pretty balanced to me. I think you’re seeing what you believe not what is reality.

Do we need a 4.7 sec 40 guy at all?

Can you imagine Chism fielding punts? Like watching a sloth.

Dude was great in college in a minor conference. In the NFL?
