Pass blocking has been pretty shaky. Run blocking is really bad and the worst I've seen since 2024 and 2019.
OL 101. 5 Offensive Linemen...yes.
Campbell, Lowe
Brown, Wallace
Wilson, Bradbury or J. Andrews
Onwenu, Wallace
Moses, Bryant

Bryant will suprise you cap.. I'm telling you he's going to be rock solid at RT next season.. Moses will be going on his arc soon..Yes... Yes... Yes... Yes... Maybe one more season of Grandpa Moses, maybe not; and Bryant might not be the answer there either...
It didn't pull up?... I'm confused, is there a story about this? Or is it just a graphic?
"Fake"book doesnt seem to work on popup/links for those of us who call it that (and havent sold themselves out to Meta). It didn't pull up?
It's on Facebook.
The issues are red zone.. we are what #22 in red zone efficiency/ scoring.. we are an excellent 3rd and long team with converting which is excellent.. but to be inside the 5 and not being able to score is embarrassing... after 6 attempts.. against the Bengals..On running plays on 3rd or 4th and short we have converted 19 of 29, 66% The league as a whole has converted 636 of 917, 69%.
The league average is 19.9/28.7
We are 1 conversion, all season, below the league average.
Over all on 3rd or 4th and short we have converted 36/55 , 65% and the league has covered 1022/1712 60%. That is 31.9/53.5 per team.
We gave converted 4 more 3rd or 4th and short than the average team in 1.5 attempts
Are we overreacting?
Running game is missing Gibson as well.. he was a back that could get short yardage and run hard between the tackles.. his skill set is sorely missed.. and on STs as well.. not saying Gibson is the solvent but he provides another option at RB whenever rham or Henderson are ineffective in short yardage.. this allegedly new role has more to do with bringing rham back along slowly due to that foot injury.. IMO.... I'm confused, is there a story about this? Or is it just a graphic?
He probably had the idea of the ball being batted out his hands stuck in his head not to go over the top.. we are missing Gibson.. People may not realize this.. but he excelled in short yardage..No clue why they didn't try Jennings on those short / goal-line runs. He's definitely the best they have on that.
Also - Maye's keeper "tush push attempt" was disgusting and embarrassing. But, he could have reached it over the top for an easy TD.
But again it’s one time. Are we overreacting. We are considering 3 running plays to be a stamp on the team. The issues are red zone.. we are what #22 in red zone efficiency/ scoring.. we are an excellent 3rd and long team with converting which is excellent.. but to be inside the 5 and not being able to score is embarrassing... after 6 attempts.. against the Bengals..

With Maye's athleticism and ability to roll out, improvise, throw on the run or beat a defender to the edge it's mindboggling that we were stymied on the goal line like that.
Agreed. No idea why McDaniels chose NOT to do any of that and, instead, chose to numerous "A" gap runs.. The "A" gaps are the worst blocked runs this team has..
I think I've seen this team run a total of 2-3 Jet Sweeps. I can't remember the last time they ran a screen play. He seemed extremely adverse to running pitches and tosses wide despite that being the area where Henderson would excel.
then there is the back shoulder fade.. With the Triple "H" of Henry, Hollins and Hooper, I would think that would be an End Zone Staple.
