Thayer Munford Jr. is a mountain ay 6'6" 354. He played in 18 games under McDaniels in Vegas. This signing makes sense. He will be familiar with the offense as he was in it 2 years. I feel like Josh has probably had this guy in his back pocket as a reserve for a while. But in Vegas, Munford flashed potential, but then just faded and started allowing a sack and seven pressures a game which caused the Raiders to move on. But his run blocking was good.

Vrabel has 4 that he is happy with.

And even if Lowe was replaced by using up a draft choice to trade for an old vet, we still would be adding to the PS today.

I remember seeing Austin on K.O. coverage in the game. I don't remember seeing him get hurt.

Kinda surprised they added ANOTHER OG to the PS when they already had Rupcich and Braiden James.
Hopefully we'll see Miles Battle getting some elevations. Patriots are thin in the defensive backfield with only 8 DBs currently.

I would expect Brenden James and Battle to be elevated.

We need to elevate a STer to replace Austin, two if Tavai is out.

I think its a stretch to say Vrabel is "happy" with them. It more like he did his best to upgrade the position in one offseason. I am sure he wants better depth than the worst LT in all of the league last year. Backup LT will continue to be a position to upgrade going into the future too. PS activity means little to nothing anyway.
