No first I don't want to troll at all I expect Patriots fans to respect the greatness of those that gave us so much fun.

If you're not going to do that then I want to troll right to your face.

You on the other hand want to hide and spew your hate where you can't be seen. And are just pissed I picked up on the fact you were hiding and posting hate anyway. If you don't like getting called out for hating you can stop hating anytime you want.

Would you say your are more prone to live in the past instead of the here and now? Do you enjoy the current Patriots success? Just ****ing enjoy it. Why is that so hard? Every day that goes by...their are more and more BB doubters because of various reasons. Why fight on that hill? It's 2025 for God's ****ing Sake! Just let it go.

I don't really like television and movies are crap now a days so what else am I going to watch. Throw on a Celts, Bruins, or Sox game and scroll the web for fun things either comedy or old sports highlights and stories.

Pats on Sundays I'm usually with my family at the game.

What else is there?

Whatever happened to NEM? Wasn’t he the guy who did a pregame prayer post each week, or am I confusing him for a different poster?

@Ian

I think about the only thing settled today is that no one likes being censored and people will log out and read the things they think they are being blocked from.

But wait theres more.......from SBB
Oh the humanity

''You told to me to block them. I went through and blocked everyone who made fun of Bill in the mega thread.

''
There are levels to being a fan of Belichick. I’m afraid that guy has now reached “jealous of Jordon Hudson” levels. Blocking everyone for daring to have any form of dissenting opinion of Belichick is feeble and weak-minded. I’m legitimately embarrassed for him.

It’s possible to have reverence for everything Belichick accomplished with the Pats and disappointment for how far he’s fallen since then. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. I don’t know and don’t care if I fall into this category but most of the people didn’t deserve to be blocked for having an open discussion about our troubled former HC.

Oh well. Like a fart in the wind, this too shall pass.

Speaking of trolls this board sure has had characters over the years even when I was just lurking not posting.

LMAO someone was really trolling this board about the Red Sox... in 2004. Good call.
I remember as far back as 2002 when Dolphins fans trolled the board. Got real quiet after the Pats sent them packing in Week 17. Those Chargers fans in 2006 really sucked too. Made beating them in the playoffs in San Diego all the more satisfying. It’s nice that trolls have been kept under control a lot more since then. Now it’s just our own who do the trolling for whatever reason.

I would say I have no control over that. There are obviously reasons why two sides reach an impasse, and I honestly feel that if the interactions are that negative between two people, having someone block/ignore/mute that person is fine with me. If people are logging out to continue the disagreement, that's an issue that I feel is a little extreme, and unnecessary.

The mods and I aren't here to referee disagreements and bickering. Nor are we here to tell people how to think or feel. So anytime the ignore function or any of the things in place are utilized, it's one less issue we have to get in the middle of.

@Ian I see you posted last but I can't see your post. I think anything you have to say should always be seen by all even if you're replying to a blocked user.

If it's easy for you to configure the board so your posts always show up and "override" any related mute/block/ignore settings then that would be a great feature We can't put you on ignore anyway lol

Hmm, interesting. I’m trying an experiment here, because some of the discussion about sbb has sounded like there may be something strange going on, and @Ian’s recent explanation of the nuances of ignorescand blocks made me think it’s complex enough that there may be some unexpected interactions.

@TheRainMaker can you see this?
@reflexblue do you have any blocks or ignores that might explain this?

hmmm, I’ve never put anyone on ignore. But now I wonders who has me on ignore, lmao. @DaBruinz , I think I called your cranky ass out years ago. Do you even see this?

They're your tools you control which ones are used. 2 weeks ago I didn't even have a block feature. Mute should be enough if someone doesn't want to listen don't listen.

I don't see the post either. Does that mean I am blocked as well ? Wonder what I did and considering I am a big BB fan, I have stuck up for him a few times . Hmmmm.....
