Tavai!

Hmm, interesting. I’m trying an experiment here, because some of the discussion about sbb has sounded like there may be something strange going on, and @Ian’s recent explanation of the nuances of ignorescand blocks made me think it’s complex enough that there may be some unexpected interactions
I have block people by accident while scrolling on my phone with my finger.

@n1997y I can't see you latest post mentioning me when I clicked on my alerts, but I see your post when I went back to the main board and found all your posts clicking on "users".

And another thread for the thread ignore list. The board troll who started this topic doesn't give two shts about Tavai and I'm not interested in playing the "look at me!" game with that idiot.

Also I suspect the troll knows exactly what he's doing blocking most of the board and what that does to the user experience for others. Crawhammer and Showtime15 were banned/restricted for less IMO.

I was the only one defending Tavai last year with his fan comments so the hater can go F' himself. Troll.

Tavai is my guy.

At first, I thought you were talking about the person that started this thread. I’m not kidding. I guess he really has blocked the entire message board. I think he should be banned; what’s the point of it other than to be a nuisance?
I hope he gets the help he needs. I've appreciated him as a regular along with many of you, and don't want to see him banned. I want to see him get better. But he has to want that for himself.

Hijacking @Triumph post from other thread to hopefully get this thread on a good track (content wise)

Does anyone know what it is Tavai is going through?
( Prayers out whatever it is! )

Aint gonna tell anyone how to run the site but you gotta wonder where the value is in these threads at this point.

Interesting. I posted it as a reply to @reflexblue so it’s their fault, lol.

I'm going to guess a someone in his family passed away.

@TheRainMaker can you see this?
@reflexblue do you have any blocks or ignores that might explain this?

I don't like how it works. If a user puts you on ignore it's your post that should be hidden from them, not their post hidden from you.

Disqus is like this too. If someone blocks you you see "content hidden" or some **** when it really should just be there user blocking what they see, not what you see.

I'm seeking an answer for why you can see notices of someone posting and see threads they've started but not see their posts. Such is the case with SBB.

No, but don't you love how this team is all for one and one for all? I didn't expect this from Vrable.

No drama whatsoever.

Somehow the Pats are going to be OK even if they lose a game or two. I know that they'll fight to till the end and keep trying to make plays for the team.

The haters drive me nuts but it's the censoring that really started all this.

For some reason Ian thinks it's a good idea to give the blocker the power.

I would have never used it but what's good for the goose has to be used by the gander too.

Now everyone sees how dumb these tools are.

The whole thread will probably get deleted now.

There are a couple of posters on here whos insights i like but starting about six months ago i could no longer see what they posted. I thought for some reason they put me on ignore, but it turns out thats not the case. They haven't blocked or put me on ignore so i don't understand whats going on.

Not all are, and he used to be less of a troll.

Trolling and ****posting is too commonly a co-dependency for some people and it can spiral out of control until it’s unhealthy for the entire board. Some folks get caught up in it even when they start with some good posts they’ll get personal and nasty to others and then they’ll get obsessed when they elicit response in kind until they forgot it’s about football and it becomes a contest of wills (Emma H. Goblin I’m looking at you!).

It’s the biggest problem on this board IMO.
I'm talking about the last couple of days. in the past i thought he was a pretty good. Yesterday he started the thread about taking a break, then last night and today hes started the type of threads that he posted recently

The reason is due to the fact I haven't deconstructed the notification portion of the software to disable those notifications. That, unfortunately, still leads to notifications of people posting who may either have someone blocked, or if it's someone a person has muted.

And to be fair, when I put this together, I did it with the ability for people to remove a person or two whom they just couldn't get along with and were better off not interacting with. Instead, I didn't plan for an individual user to place a high number of people on that list, which exacerbates the fact I haven't been able to turn off the notifications. However, like I did with toggling the ability to show/hide OP threads with the ignore, I'll figure this out as well.

Thanks. But I thought if someone blocks you, their posts remain visible to the blockee.
