Henderson and Rham gonna eat. Or so you'd think...

Only thing is this is what i was thinking going into cincy. Going into sunday, THEY were the worst run d in yds/gm. Now the giants have overtaken that after gibbs cut through them like a knife.

Hopefully we’ll attempt more runs outside which we curiously barely did yesterday. Especially after the inside stuff was clearly going nowhere!

I expect the offense to be better but I'm worried about that defense.
A lot will depend on Dart's availability IMO. Pats usually are vulnerable to the QB who can roll out and take off. Also losing Williams has been a major blow to stopping the run.

Dart's one hit from missing a calendar year. It would be borderline malpractice to put him out there if they really think he's the future.

Exactly. Their season is over anyway.

Big ‘bounce back’ game needed here. I was happy as heck to get out with a win yesterday but we definitely need a better effort moving forward, even without campbell and Wilson. Nyg is still very bad but probably a bigger challenge than cincy , whoever the qb is will be healthy.
The extended time off may have had something to do with the Pats coming out sluggish in Cinci. Maye was uncharacteristically off and the whole team seemed a tad slow.

This is part of the reason why I lean towards a Buffalo loss post Bye.

That was pretty concerning, especially maye in the first quarter. I was thinking the same about buffalo and if we get a first round bye. Hopefully a learning opportunity, it was their first layoff

That Giants Dline is going to feast on Pats backups. They better figure out a plan to handle the rush. Whatever they did against Cleveland didn't work too well.
Giants have 26 sacks as a team. 13 for Burns alone.

Our season was over last year and Maye played.
Experience is crucial for these young guys.
I am in no way advocating to play him if he's hurt, but if he's recovered you play him.
It's football, it's always a risk.
He needs snaps to develop.
You could sit him out and he could take one big hit in first game back, be that a week from now or next Sept.
If he's healthy, he should play. Season over not, these guys don't get better on the sideline.
