Good luck trying to win on defense in the NFL in 2025, nearly every offensive possession starts at the +30 and kickers can boom 60 yard FGs.

25 yard scoring drives now.

Kinda crazy because the average starting field position now is about the 30 yard line, but a 65 yard field goal is only about the opposite 45 yard line, so teams only need like 25 yards to be in field goal range. If the NFL is going to allow these juiced K balls then they need to back up the kickoff starting positions.

I honestly hate it. I have zero interest it watching 60-70 yard field goals be kicked. Screws up decision making

Curious to hear what Maye was thinking on that pick 6 that might have been the worst pass I’ve ever seen him throw
I mean Henry was wide open. He just missed the throw.

On the plus side, maye is rolling again.

On the down side, a bit concerning we cant run the ball on this horseshit defense and whats tonga’s status? They have a pretty good rb, not a good time for more dl injuries

Still think it was a hand issue. Seems to have settled down, but I think that play he got hit on the release might have been where he got nicked up

Pats are going to need to get up two tds to make cin one dimensional and throw the ball. They're not going to stop the run w the injuries

Hopefully they tighten up their run D in the second half

That Cincy kicking ball should be examined.

It definitely changes the thinking.

I kinda thought it might have been a sun issue but idk

Anyone got news on Swinson? Ankle sounds way better than knee hopefully he's not out long

lol these juiced balls
I'm going start doing some ball washing.

They need to stop letting teams mess around with the K balls, this is getting ridiculous you got 65 yard FGs hitting the net.

Make field goals hard again!

First Half receiving by distance:

JSN is a monster

The Texans literally just won the game with defense.

I don’t think it was a mental error but more of a “that was a throw a HS kid doesn’t make”. He had a few of them early

Ian has CBS or the Pats provided an update on Tonga?
