LMFAO , Buffalo needed this game desperately, and they're gonna lose.
Couldn't happen to nicer fans...
TwoBills must be crashing their server.
Woot Woot!
So you are saying you WANT the Bills to have a high draft position?

Remember how awesome Earl Campbell was his first couple of seasons?

He just ran through people.

A couple years later where was he?

You can’t just run through NFL players and never pay the price.
Earl is an extremely rare case.
There are plenty of very physical former NFL RBs and players in general that lived perfectly fine healthy lives after their careers ended.
Josh takes hits, but nothing Earl use to take on every touch.

That's a very real possibility since two of them are out right now and the other is on the edge.
The Bills remaining schedule isnt that bad.

@ Steelers W
Bungles W
@ Pats hate to say it but the Bills likely W
@ Browns W
Eagles L
Jets W

12 - 5

2 big differences. Brady was in his age 36 season in 2014. And a pocket QB.
Josh Allen is 30 and a running QB, the kind that runs QB powers, etc.

Turns out, Brady wasn't done, but it wasn't completely crazy to think it at age 36.

To think there's any sort of window for a Running QB post-age 30, when the Bills are currently over the cap, haven't had a decent draft in 3 years, and have won zero road playoff games in this run, well...you have a lot more faith in Josh Allen than I do.

And Lamar Jackson was the best QB on the planet last year, Allen just won the MVP award. And Lamar Jackson is almost 29.

People just assuming Mahomes/Allen/Jackson would be playing into their 40s at an MVP level were mindbroken by Tom Brady. Name the running QB that was better in his 30s than in his 20s. It's a really short list. It's Steve Young, that's the list. Rodgers and Roethlisberger ran early in their careers, but transitioned to pocket passers by their mid-late 20s.

Mahomes, Allen and Jackson have not done that, although of those three, Jackson is at least trying to. The other two have not modified their games in the slightest, and it will severely limit their primes.
So you think Josh is a running QB?
Or is he a passer that runs?
He's on pace for around 4200 yds, which would be 4200+ yards in 5 of his last 6 seasons.
He has averaged 32 passing TDs/year over that span including his numbers this year extrapolated over 17 games.
He's not what I would consider a running QB, but your mileage may vary.

They routinely call QB powers for him.
Most of his passing comes when he breaks the pocket.
Yes, he's a running QB. He is the MOST running QB of the 'Big 3'.

Just because it’s funny to think about - there’s a world in which the Bills go 3-2 in the next 5 games, the Dolphins go 5-0 in the next 5 games, and then in week 18 the Patriots rest their starters against Miami and it pushes Miami into the 7 seed over Buffalo due to better division record.
Now THAT would be the ultimate payback for the Bills intentionally trying to keep the Pats from getting the 1st overall pick.

I remember Mauch trotting out Bunning and Short I believe as all their other pitchers were injured. Richie Allen looked like he was winning Rookie of the year and Johnny Callison was going for MVP then the losing streak started. I remember it well my uncle took me to a lot of Phillies games in those days as I spent my summers in Chester, PA then. We also went to Wildwood a lot.

Where abouts were you?
I was in South Jersey, inland from OC and Wilwood. If you were going from Chester to the shore you were north of where I grew up. I’ve confused folks when I say I grew up south of the Mason Dixon Line, in New Jersey. Pretty much straight east of Baltimore.

I was just about to enter junior high school. I remember listening to the game that clinched their failure after playing pick up baseball with friends in a neighbor’s backyard. Don’t remember much about the game just that all of Mauch’s managerial moves failed miserably, and how dumbfounded the announcers were at the total collapse. It was epic.

We're not in week 15. We have 6 games to play, 7 weeks. In the past 6 weeks the Bills have gone 3-4, from up 2 to down 2.

Win our next 4 games and we would be up at least 3 with 2 to play. Then we can be smug.
I wasn't saying we're in Week 15 right now. The Patriots play the Bills again in Week 15.

sb1 kissing Allen's ass so hard right now lol.

Don't forget how much he hates Belichick too.

I've always told you guys this man is not a Patriots fan.

I think @mayoclinic was more agreeing with @patfanken about all of us not being smug after the Bills' loss. I don't think he was specifically calling you out.

Good points. I think McDermott and Beane are tied at the hip. If one goes, they probably both do.
Would like to see the Bills come to poach a GM from the Pats.

They want Stretch, but the Pats promote him to de facto GM, and the Bills get Wolf.

After all, Wolf drafted Maye.

Bills D gave up 3 point in the second half.
Loss is on Allen. How can folks here say otherwise
Pats better take advantage of this
Schedule will be much more challenging next season
Bengals still have an outside shot at the division
Burrow will play
If they don't pressure him it will be a shoot out

I think Stretch is more Ernie Adams. Cowden is the GM in waiting for us.

I think we'd happily let Wolf find another landing spot.

I don’t see Stretch or Cowden leaving any time soon.

Wolf however….
And I don't think anyone would be too upset. That said, I do think Wolf is the kind of guy who tries to be a team player with this new brain trust.
