Content Post JETS SUCK 2025 EDITION (OFFICIAL): DIVINE INTERVENTION DENIED

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
He DOES realize he is attaching his future fandom to the Daniel Jones experience.

Right?
I'm not saying it's much better, but when was the last time the Jets were tied for first in the conference (beyond opening day when all teams are 0-0-0)?

The one Jete fan sitting in front of me last night acted like he mainlined caffeine. At one point he shouted to nobody in particular, "No one hates the Jets more than a Jets fan!" He left with nine minutes remaining after Fields threw incomplete on fourth down.

Can’t wait until Glenn is holding the Lombardi Trophy... a jest fan today

Interesting fact: when the Jete beat Baltimore in the 1969 inter-league postseason exhibition, it was called "World Professional Football Championship Trophy." The NFL renamed it in honor of Vince Lombardi in 1970, after he passed away from cancer in September of that year. So technically speaking, the Jete NEVER have won a Lombardi.

I laughed, but you prob know that Fields only has 4 fumbles this year, and Maye has 6.

Fields has missed playing time this season that Maye hasn't. But aside from that, this isn't the thread for "fairness" to the Jete via Patriots comparison.

I **** you not. I was reading the Jets forum yesterday and a poster said Glenn shouldn’t be fired and should come back next season because “there was no way in hell we were beating the 9-2 Patriots. The team plays hard for Glenn and that’s because of good coaching”. That’s a summary of the post.

I agree! And Woody Johnson should continue to let his sons get involved in player personnel - look at the great players they’ve drafted recently — they were worth multiple first round picks in trades, so they need to keep up the good drafting with those extra picks.

They have a huge advantage on the Pats in scouting methods. I've never once heard anyone on the Past refer to Madden ratings. It is as if they are leaving that entire rich trove of information to the Jets to mine. Organizational malpractice. I hope the Jete front office isn't reading this.

And as pointed out above, they also don't have a take away this entire season when playing in the US.

Jete fans suffer from a clear case of the Stockholm Syndrome... they are now identifying with their captors - the clown show known as the jete "brain"-trust... They do not know what quality football is, let alone winning football...

100% correct. Look at their reaction to AD Mitchell. He's fast! He can make moves and run routes! He can gain separation! They are so happy! At the same time they fail to notice that he simply can't catch, don't realize that the Colts gave him to da Jete because they valued the roster spot more than the player.

There are now people going through puberty and soon to be studying for their learner's permit who were not yet alive during the Jete's last p-p-playoff appearance... And when they last hosted a PO game? Fuhgeddaboutit; those kids are of drinking age now, some of whom are likely still drowning their sorrows as I type this...

I was still in my 20s the last time the Jets won the division. Holy ****.
