Aside from Henderson, ponder might be the brightest recent development in recent weeks. 2 monster sacks in the last 2 4th qtr’s. Hope his role expands.

Nice to see Williams finally break in last week but its gonna be tough putting him on the field in the bigger games until he starts making the right reads consistently. One of these throws might not fall harmlessly to the ground . Thankfully we have at least 3 more trash opponents where he can probably get alot of reps.

Brady was the same. If he had no confidence in you, he wouldn't even look at you.

I don't think the issue is catching the ball but running the correct route and timing in the concept that was dialed up, and being on the same page as Maye as to recognizing what the defense is giving you. Some players catch on quickly, some don't. I think it really depends on what level their abstract intelligence is at.
The problem is Maye has to throw before Williams has made his final cut. He has to trust that Williams will cut the way Maye anticipates. If Williams doesn't read what Maye is reading you get an incompletion, at best, or an interception, at worst, because the ball is going to where Williams isn't. KW has got to get on the same page as Maye.

I hope he gets it; the payoff will be huge.

Alternatively, McD could simplify what they're asking of KW.

I think that stat is skewed by those big runs last week. That said, I know people don't like the runs up the gut, but I like them as long as they get a couple yards. Keeps the D honest and chips away to make the 3rd downs a little shorter. And I thought Henderson did a good job on those this week, getting a few yards here and a few yards there.

Yeah, I would like to see McD just go really simple with Williams and try to use his speed after the catch rather than speed and route running to the catch in a big chunk play.

I agree but Taylor has one or two runs (or a lot lot more) that skew his stats too. I'm kidding of course, there's no way I'm trying to compare the two but I think Henderson was running harder inside yesterday, particularly in the 4th Q where he was hitting the LoS with real explosion. The arrow is up and that's all that matters.

KW will figure it out before seasons end. The good thing is he's getting reps: but he's not better than the people in front of him.

Was there a Rookie Right Tackle Marcus Bryant sighting last night?

It was interesting that Ben Brown was getting the extra OL reps rather than Bryant. That probably tells us something about the level of trust in those 2 backups and who the coaches think is better.

It's my own personal opinion that a sportscar being any color other than red is an abomination, but to each their own.

If I was rich the 911 is what I would drive. You got yourself a beaut!
In the early days the colors were nationalistic. BRG is the all time classic English cars.. Ferrari and Alfa Romeo red came from Italy. French Matras were blue when I got into racing.

And the Germans used silver for their Mercedes and Porsches. Given the Porsche - Ferrari rivalry a red Porsche would be an abomination. A silver 911 is ideal!

One exception, John Wyers’ powder blue 917s. Or maybe Penske’s Sunoco blue 917 for Mark Donohue. But any 917 is such a beast they stand alone.

It might just be because Ben Brown is such a big body guy. I'm not sure how his size compares to Bryant.

Pop Douglas is doing so much with less he's uncoverable in man coverage: and it looks like he's getting comfortable finding the spot spots in the zone. Williams is a work in progress at least he's getting run: he'll get with the Maye program soon enough.
I just wish Pop would find his feet better after his catches.

I’m starting to worry he’s got something medical going on.
