Andy Borregales has been lights out since the Raiders game. Do you think he’ll make All-Pro his rookie year? Who else is killing it this year? Jaguars kicker Cam Little? Chargers kicker ****er has been excellent & Colts starting kicker Schrader was the best before his season ending injury, so he’s out of the way. With the weather changing for the “worst” here’s to hoping he’s able to sustain his success; being that he’s used to kicking in sunny Miami. Obviously, he’s gonna be essential for our playoff run.

It's a little early to be anointing him anything, but all signs are positive. Borregales now looks good.

I didn't like how he dominated June, and then fell apart in training camp, though. The benefit of the doubt goes to Borregales as a rookie thing, but I don't want a kicker who can lose confidence on a dime.

And he can improve the kickoffs a little.

Turns out drafting specialists isn't such a bad idea after all.
Borg is killing it.
John Parker Romo is now on his couch.
I never understood the negativity when he was drafted, we needed a kicker and coming out of collage he was the best, so we took him. A little wobble at first, but he has turned out to be one of the best. Kickers go under the radar a lot, but they are a crucial part of the team.

This AB is a keeper

also AB: “please don’t jinx me”

Until Romo ended his tenure by doing the Pats a big favour, there were five kickers on NFL teams who had been on the Patriots: Romo, Ryland, Slye, Folk and Borregales.

Guess who has the best record of all five?

It's 41-year-old Nick Folk. 100%: 19 of 19 field goals and all 12 extra points. The Patriots replaced him because he didn't have a strong enough leg to handle kick-offs -- but he made a career-best 58-yarder this season.

If anyone is going to the Pro Bowl, it should be Folk.

Borregales is indicative of the way Vrabel has handled this team as a whole. Over and over Vrabel has shown this team that he believes in them and stands by them. Whether it was sending him out for the game winning kick, Stevenson fumbles, going for it on 4th downs in dangerous places on the field, or turning to rookies to make big plays Vrabel has them believing in themselves and that more than anything is why they are winning so much. To get further proof of this listen to the All Access clips. While the fans are biting their fingernails and worrying about what's going to happen the Patriots players and coaches are working the sidelines talking about making plays and putting their cleats on the throats of their opponents. And while I still believe they were right not to trade away their future for a one time stab at winning the Super Bowl I do believe they can beat anyone, and that they are capable of going on a playoff run and winning the tournament. Either way it's been a blast to watch and enjoy, this is already one of my favorite team's and season's of all time. No matter what happens going forward I'm going to enjoy the rest of the season, and look forward to them repeating the offseason they had in 25' in 26'. It wasn't a fluke, these guys know what they are doing.

Everyone misses once in a while so that doesn’t really concern me by itself. But it’s his first cold weather game here after being drafted from Miami and I thought his extra point looked kind of wobbly/low too. Not exactly encouraging considering this is our first look at him in the cold. But also not something I want to overreact to either

Was the first miss from the left hashmark too and wide right?
