Hmmm. If we don't miss barmore much, does it mean next season he could be a trade candidate ?

Will we be able to get more pressure by replacing barmore with any other DT tandem with Williams.

How is landry doing ? I feel he has been silent the last 4-5 games and chaisson is the only one doing some disruption.

Landry had 2.5 sacks in first game against raiders and after that 3 sacks in 9 games and none in last 3 games. I am not sure if he is generating pressure too. Film buffs please advise.

Ted Johnson was saying on the breakdown last night that the 01 team is so similar to this one in those regards to the defensive numbers.. it's impressive and it doesn't seem the defense gets enough respect nationally as they should.

You missed the Atlanta game? Marcus on London was a disaster. Marcus can't play on the outside, he has to be in the slot. No slot corner makes $20M a year.

Agreed. I'm referring to Marcus as a slot cb.. can we agree he's one of the best in the league? That is also why I said it's a match up offenses look for in that situation. Specifically the Drake London situation. Or let's go back to the 08 Superbowl Hobbs on plaxico.. eli exploited the match up..

We agree here. I have adapted my thinking with the scheme as much as zone drives me crazy I now more than ever fully Understand that it's just what you said coverage LB is why we play zone. The red area is where the weaknesses show up.

I love Woodson he has gotten better with each game. We definitely will address those needs in the draft and FA.. I'd imagine FA this time around no matter what transpire the rest of the season is going to be very desirable..

A 6'2 FS field general at S next to Woodson. A fast sideline to sideline coverage LB. Absolutely edge should be addressed. Landry is playing hurt but still is putting forth maximum effort.. Chaisson is force he needs to be resigned and he needs a partner..

The second half of the season we need some..more pressure from the defensive line.. question for you does Barmore habe a recorded sack this season? He's been a beast just wondering?

As good as that one was, Tonga blocking 2 (at least two, looks like he caught a third as he hit the ground) and pancaking one guy on that 2nd run was really cool.

To be fair, it’s not libel to admit Marcus is short, it’s just a fact of life. It seems Marcus can be depended on for a couple of bad beats when he’s giving up half a foot or more in height because of the match up. If we see it opposing OCs see it and scheme for it. It happens too often to be ignored.
