Even though Siriani survived that 4th down call, that has got to be the dumbest decision I've ever seen. The intelligence of HC's continues to get worse each year.

Maybe Hurts was supposed to punt it and he got confused, that's the only explanation I have for that.

Which is why I'm wondering if he got confused, to your point.

Really, very little bad could happen with him punting. He shanks it, oh well, he punts it into the end zone, oh well.

He could have f'd up hesitated and had it blocked and returned. Granted that would have to be a seriously bad F up and very fortunate block

Yeah there's no punt unit out there, so the risk of a block is pretty damn low.

I guess we'll find out - or hear the ******** excuse.

Love should be better than he is. I think the HC is an issue. That 4th down play on the second last drive. Then, the kicker missed the 64 yarder by a fair margin (that should not have been allowed) on that practice kick. So...let Love go for the hail mary instead of putting the kicker back out there. That's what he should have done.

The defense is great. A McVay type HC would have that team as a legit SB contender.

He is borderline top 10 QB. Guys like that do not grow on trees. You try another HC first.
