Both at their peak of coaching prowess? Belichick and it isn't even close.

Belichick is still the best coach of all time. When he was still in his prime, he could coach circles around everyone.

Vrabel is looking great right now, but his sample size is too low. And we have seen a lot of player coaches like Vrabel lose their team when things go bad. Too early to tell there if Vrabel will end up with the same fate. Vrabel is on track to being one of the best head coaches, but he needs more time to prove that.

Too early to tell there if Vrabel will end up with the same fate. Vrabel is on track to being one of the best head coaches, but he needs more time to prove that.

Vrabes wasn't my first choice. I just didn't want nostalgia to be a reason to pick a coach. But I'm glad he's here now whatever the reason was.

BB as he is now seems tapped and senile. Give me Vrabel over him, but a younger BB dropped out of the sky into now? Not taking anyone ever as a coach/GM over him. His track record here speaks for himself. Don't let the fact that he couldn't extend his all time nest run of coaching and GMing from 20 years to 25 distract you from the fact that he still had the all time best 20 year run. Or I guess if you wanted to say maybe the last 5 years of that run he was hanging on from past decisions and Brady but not doing as good real time, you can say he "only" had a 15 year all time best run.

Vrabel is the better coach for right now. Bill is old, he’s long gone. Nothing lasts forever, same thing I said after Brady left.
