Yes.

taking out these 2 runs, he was 12 for 25 yards dude
There's only 1 other RB that had over 100 yards rushing against that Bucs defense this year, Jahmyr Gibbs and if you took away his 2 biggest runs his line was 15 for 43

Bijan Robinson was 12 for 24.
Breece Hall was 9 for 21
Saquon Barkley was 19 for 43
McCaffery was 17 for 54
David Montgomery was 13 for 21

The Bucs run defense is no joke. They are very good.

Exciting Patriots football is back folks.. after the past two years good to see that this team is playing 60 minutes of football, while they will never be perfect, this brand of football is terrifically exciting and reminiscent of our glory days..
There will many who will look for the mistakes need to consider that 3 TD's scored by rookies is impressive.

It's either that, or Spillane or Tavai or Gibbens in man coverage.

Yeah, I hate it too, but in terms of managing the entire game - it has worked.

They're not getting better linebackers this year. They're probably not going to get much better in zone coverage. We're going to have to live with it - and the fact they're winning doing it means it's working.
Totally get your point. However where it's hurting the defense is the red zone. Due the to zone coverage is why we are a bottom red zone defense. The hope is it doesn't catch up with us in the playoffs.

At times you can see the frustration in Davis and gonzo when WRs make plays..they want to play cat coverage and lock guys up.. but as you said the LBs in coverage are weak spot.

Strong up in the middle

So, uhh, I guess it's too late to tank for the #1 draft pick?

That's OK. We suck at that. We just don't have as much practice at that as the Jets, say.
If the Pats had the 1st pick instead of the 3rd would they have taken Maye?

He's pretty slow. The kick returner position will be upgraded next to year.
Pop and Marcus should really be the only returners.. seems as if chism is playing on STs just to get him on the field.

Bill would have
He would have traded down. Wasn't he slightly critical of Maye and his mechanics after the pick? Or it could have been sour grapes and would have been critical of any pick.

Drake making plays. The only knock is that int in the end zone.

I do wish McDaniels would have called a more aggressive plan when we were up 21-10.
"Why the two orders? If you gave an order that Santiago wasn't to be touched, and your orders are always followed, then why would Santiago be in danger? Why would it be necessary to transfer him off the base?"

Aggressiveness is as much a mind set and a muscle memory as it is play calls. This is especially true over time. There are usually a combination of routes on a pass play of shorter safer and longer more aggressive routes. (Hell, the check-down is the term for it) There are more risky toss and mis-direction run plays - one bad pitch and fumble city.

But if your young quarterback is being taught to protect the ball - that is inherently low risk, but also low reward. However it may lead to hesitancy in a game where split second decision making is a necessity.

And form follows function. So if McDaniels preaches more aggressive play calling...INTs are going to go up.

So which do you want - more aggressiveness or less INTs. Hard to have both.

You would be wrong.

Saquon didn't get it last year. Taylor won't this year.
I could see a scenario where if the Colts get the #1 and he continues at his pace in the 2nd half of the season, they look at last year and decide to give it to Taylor this year
