Player Signing Patriots claim EDGE Caleb Murphy on waivers

From the sounds of it per chargers fans he has trouble setting the edge. Thats a little concerning but if he can even be a 3rd down specialist that’s still a huge help

Take this with a big grain of salt because I'm repeating what I heard, but I'm not sure our OLBs set the edge in the same way anymore. Now we want to get pressure up the middle and make them spill to the edges where the players swarm for tackles.

They have gotten a lot of favorable publicity without a lot of history to support. I hope they are great, but don't have any reason to expect it.

I take a positive evaluation by our coaching staff as reason to expect good things from a player.

That would make sense, our cbs also have been really good in run support this year from what ive seen when they do get outside
