Amazing what ONE week can do. Last week KC was odds on favorite to not only win their division but get the bye. This week that are "old, fading, and flawed team", just because they lost a one score game, against a top 5 team, ON the road.

Didn't last week teach you ANYTHING. ANY team can beat another if things break right. We could have very easily lost that game against the Falcons. The Packers lost at home to the Panthers. Hell, the Jets won a game. That's what makes the playoffs so exciting. They are one and done.

In a 7-game series the better teams USUALLY rise to the top. One play, one bad bounce, one bad game and your DONE. IIRC, I think it was 2001 (or one of the early superbowls) we caught a HUGE break when the Jags upset the Broncos, and instead of going to fly to a hostile Mile High and struggle for oxygen playing a far better Bronco team, we play the surprising Jags who we struggled to beat at home.

John Parker Romo got released.

Falcons gon' Falcon.

Tony Massaroti said he wasn't impressed with Maye yesterday. Thought Maye was past throwing stupid picks and fumbling.

So did I; but it appears we'll just have to learn to live with an Error Repeater at QB.

So weak. Dude, grow a pair.

Yeah, sometimes that's what you get with a young QB. I think it's going to be two steps forward one step back sometimes.

Atlanta was a tough opponent with many playmakers on both sides of the ball, who I expected to lose to prior to our recent run. They also had lost 2 straight while we had won 5 straight. This was a recipe for an upset or at least a nailbiter. Surprisingly we were in the process of kicking their ass when Maye's fumble flipped the game around and unleashed the Falcons offense. This was at best a 50-50 game going in, and the fact it was so close should not be a criticism. We still have a good chance Sunday.
