That video cuts in way too late. I wanted to see if the RG tapped him too early.

And that clapping accusation is complete ********. Kinda hard to clap when you're in three point stance.

Williams said he went on motion, he was fairly certain he saw the guard tap the center

Why would most be punting this year at 7-2?
Because it’s a historically eash schedule and it isn’t rally about punting on this year, but more “don’t weaken yourself In future years to go all in on a year where the team looks better than it is”.

I doubt anyone honestly thinks this is a SB contender. You don’t give away premium picks in a rebuild.

Just went back and watched the play multiple times and watched every player. Could not see the deep safety, but nobody else’s hands came close to clapping. F*** that guy
Anybody else love it like me? We are back to teams crying about cheating whilst we beat them and tied for the number one seed.

I haven't read this thread or the gameday yet.

Bad teams (like this one last year) lose games when they don't play their best.

Good teams still find a way to win.

Patriots won today.

That is all.

What I meant was our WR's. If we were to lose Boutte, we'd struggle.
My point is Williams & Chism are providing nothing, and it doesn't look like Williams will be able to offer anything this year.

So, we have 4 guys - and Boutte is a major piece of that puzzle. Diggs & Pop can't play as a 1-2 threat. Hollins blew up that one game because of the respect that Boutte has earned in coverage. So, I'm just saying we're flirting with a thin line in the WR corp and can't afford injury to any of those 4 guys.
If Boutte is out, Diggs plays more and Douglass and Williamdcget more opportunities
We have games where Boutte is invisible.

The distribution of targets is very different week to week. We will adapt.

7-2 with an elite QB, fighting chance of a bye.

Why not?

Isn't that illegal

First you have to do it... then you have to get caught doing it. Then, and only if you're not the Chiefs, ofc it's illegal
Kinda like holding. If you do it and you get caught it's a stupid penalty. If you do it and it doesn't get called it's genius... a fine line

Let's be honest, they have had an easy schedule and they lack talent and depth. We saw what a few injuries meant today. We went from dunking on the Falcons to treading water and it didn't take losing much. Their 52 man roster just isn't good enough. The Pats have been so lucky with injuries this year before this game overall... We saw what it looked like without Gonzo early. Not good. We saw what it looked like for a half without Boutte. Not good.

They need to be able to absorb SOME losses. And they can't. I am not saying don't try to do anything this year. I want a nice playoff run, and it is possible for them to do it. This is a down year across the league. But do i expect their injury luck to hold up? Nope. It is starting not to.

Does this mean they can't win the Super bowl this year? No. Stranger things have happened... but they would be one of the worst winners of all time and it would need to involve a lot of fluky things.

Home teams win 77% of playoff games since 2020. Absolutely positively HAVE to win the division if they want to have any playoff success. I don't think a QB making his first playoff start is winning a road playoff game with a defense w no pass rush and no running game. Especially at Denver, at Buffalo, or inside a dome.

I guess that this would not have been a good Sunday to be in the GDT. Great to get a win, though.
I was thinking the same thing at the game today.

I'm really concerned about the second half offense. It was atrocious. Maye only had around 70 yards and there was no one open at all, really, until the last play to Henry. Very troublesome. I understand Atlanta is a good pass D, but what were they doing to Maye to make him look like rookie Maye? Were guys open and Maye wasn't seeing them? We'll never know because the ****ing broadcast team never showed an overhead view.
We had 4 possessions. We drive to the 5 on the first one and kicked a fg after a 3rd down sack.
We had a 3 and out
We had an int on the second play of a series
And we had a 2 first down drive.

Maye was 8/14 with a couple of throw aways.

You are talking about 6 passes. 2 were throwaways, one was the int because of miscommunication. Williams ran a wrong route. We missed a deep shot to Douglas, and one was tipped, which would have been a big catch and run by Henderson.
They didn’t make Maye look like anything, it’s hard to be unstoppable on every drive.

The other team gets paid.

We win, stop trying to find a reason to be unhappy about it.

I would be interested to find the amount of time from snap to sack for all of Mayes sacks. Does anyone know where this info could be found???

Right I'm saying it's a penalty if they do it, which they didn't.

Unless that rule is specifically about simulating the snap with your voice not just clapping

You can't simulate the snap with your hands or voice.
