Interesting that the Pats only elevated D'Ernest Johnson from the PS. With no Dugger, that means that there will be a lot of pressure on Mapu, Pettus and Schooler.
Also, going to put a lot of pressure on Elijah Ponder to step up in the Edge Rotation.
edit: what gives is i need to pay better attention during the week... Per the Pats website - On Friday, the Patriots ruled out Stevenson due to his toe injury, which held him out of all three practices this week.
Atlanta is 22nd against the run (126.4 per game allowed) but 1st in pass defense (149.1 yards per game allowed). Hopefully, Henderson and Jennings can take advantage because throwing it might be more of a challenge today.

Hawkins and Woodson are the starters, and if all goes according to plan, they probably play near 100% of the snaps anyway. If things go awry, one of Pettus/Schooler/Mapu has to step up into the role Dugger previously held. I'd guess it'd be Pettus.
I'm not too worried about it, since Dugger wasn't really doing anything special, and Pettus is a fine player in his own right too. Good enough third safety.
With Dugger off the game-day active roster, maybe it opens to door to using Pettus and Mapu a little more as TE coverage specialists?
