The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

inherited a bowl team with a CUPCAKE schedule. What a fraud.

mumble myface grumble garbage blah blah blah blah

If he was a serious coach he would have told Mr. 3 rings to take a hike and brought in a real coaching staff and GM who knows how to win at the college level.

Fake News! LOL, you know what's fake News is Mike Lombardi being a 3x SB winning NFL exec.

"I'm sure there's a lot of other people that want to get clicks and views and posts on my face... but enough about my girlfriend, let's talk football..."

Progress comes in small increments...

Yes for Bill Belichick and "Fat Mike" Lombardi, no for Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels...

"We ran out of time" my ass. UNC was a bowl team and now they're not. And questions are rightfully being asked.

The team's recent uptick, at least on defense, is indicative we were not so awful versus TCU, UCF and Clemson because of a lack of talent; and that the onus is on coaching.

Rather than the roster, our coaching staff lacks bona fide talent:

(Check their credentials, with asterisks by Belichick because he has not had a winning season in nearly a decade, and Lombardi because his are embellished or false. And, make note of the nepotism and cronyism.)

For someone who is 41-68 (0.376) in his last 109 games as head coach with a certain QB as his starter, those increments are glacial.

18 LLC's lol. Isn't there a $500 annual filing fee for each one? Not that she won't get Bill to pay for all of it...

Belichick on the story that he was considering accepting a buyout at UNC: Fake news... a bunch of garbage... mumble mumble... clicks... myface...that story has been taken down

Fact check: It has not been taken down.

I finally had a chance to listen to the PTFO podcast on Lombardi. It is hilarious; yet at the same time it's a brutal takedown about that lying POS. My favorite part was how despised he was in Foxborough.

According to Pablo Torre Finds Out, however, Lombardi was fired amid a near mutiny within the Patriots’ staff, with complaints about Lombardi coming from offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, director of player personnel Nick Caserio, director of football/head coach administration Berj Najarian, and director of football research Ernie Adams, among others.

Mack Brown's base camp is better than where they are now. LOL.

Man, this is all kinda sad...for you history buffs out there, this reminds me of Hannibal's days after the Punic War...running from place to place, a shadow of his former self...

There was a rumor in Cleveland that Mike Lombardi's name wasn't always Mike Lombardi he changed his last name to Lombardi so NFL teams would be interested in hiring him... please be true that is SO on brand for this guy lmao

Who will be Bill's Scipio Africanus?

Who will be Bill's Scipio Africanus?

Good question...someone who scored a nice victory against him. I feel like it's Mangina. Scored a nice victory, didn't end the war, and ended his career in disgrace, retired from public life.

BB went on for a long while after, but eventually lost, and is now in his post-Carthage phase.

Yeah, we're torturing the hell out of this, but I'm here for it.

Even Nantz was pumping up Lombardi's ego…the second half of a Super Bowl is in the middle of kicking off and he's busy talking about Lombardi bringing the Harbaugh brothers into the NFL.
