BUT as of today, the Pats do the right thing and resign one of our own. The kid is a good DB who plays bigger than he is, and is a legitimate threat as a PR.

I’m not used to having players resign without getting cookies made by our division rivals first in free agency.

We’ll still have a couple of these guys on 1 year deals to evaluate if we’ll bring back. (Chaisson comes to mind)

But he was the one major piece to resign. Cap space, and very little hitting the market. We’ll be in great shape this March.
