So Captain Stone is upset that rookies Josh Farmer and Kyle Wilson aren't getting more snaps, and that Jared Wilson isn't getting less snaps.

WHAT!??? I disagree with this 1000 percent. This is professional football. Its a competitive sport. The idea is to do whats best for the football team. Anything that can make them better now. Adding competitive players to boost competition in the roster is what its all about.

Perhaps you'd be better off not following sports and spending more time in art galleries or something.

Fortunately Vrabel doesn't agree with the " anything to get better right now" mentality, and is focused on what's best for building the program long term. If there is a good deal to make I'm sure they will make it, but they aren't going to sacrifice what's best for their overall development to try and win it all this year. That's the road that Miami and the Jets went down recently and neither ever won a playoff game, and both are now the dregs of the league. Vrabel and Co. are going to systematically build a long term contender, because that's what gives you the best shot at winning Lombardi's. Right now the Patriots are tied with the Steelers at 6 Super Bowl wins each. Soon the Patriots will own that record all for themselves.

All is not lost, …… 17 game season is like almost 2 college seasons.

Some of other rookies may be tired by game 14.
due to lack of use, these two might just be rounding into /developed to season 2 form by game 15, just in time for the playoffs.

True. I just believe seeing Hendersons speed in camp/pre-season was such a welcoming site. Seeing how we haven't had speed on offense in years. It just may have gotten fans a bit overexcited.

That makes no sense, unless Thomas has really fallen out of favor with Liam Coen. But the chance to add an alpha X WR on his rookie deal would make much more sense to me than Chris Olave or AJ Brown.

It’s concerning that JAX would even be willing to listen on him. Same time, he’s a prototypical X which we lack. Last year had 1k yards and 10TD. Even this year, he’s on pace for 885 yards so not like he’s bumming it. You get 2.5 rookie contract years plus the 5th year option. Not sure what I’d offer because it really comes down to the behind the scenes homework on why they’re moving him. That’s the main factor there to consider and none of us will ever have any sort of informed opinion on that.

Typical trade rumors, ect. This happens every season. I doubt shad khan is going to trade him unless something has gone awfully wrong with him..

He seems like he is not fitting in well in the new Jags offense. He also seems unhappy. I think they want to make Hunter their #1 WR.

He would be perfect for Maye's deep threat abilities. Although he isn't known for strong route running. So I am not sure how he would fit into McDaniels' system.

He is only in year two of his career and could be paired with Maye for the next ten years if traded though. He was a first round pick. So they would have him under contract for two more years with a fifth year option. If the Jags are truly looking to trade him, I would do it.
