Do we win the Miami game without him in that moment? Maybe not. As we go towards a playoff run every play counts and games can change completely on one return. I like chism overall but he doesn’t look like a kr to me. Maybe a pr if marcus gets hurt.
Probably not. That was a huge play in the game. As Miami in Miami no matter what has always been tough for us. Yes it seems as if they are just trying to het Chism on the field. Pop should be given KR duties IMO.

This is why if they can move Olave they absolutely will, and why a relatively cheap 5th year option for most teams would be the difference between being in cap hell another year or not.

And then they'd have to figure out how to pay Olave after next year, or lose him for nothing.
Olave now that you have explained it: is more realistic than I actually thought.
=

They just can't seem to get on the same page. With the way Maye is spreading the ball around to everyone else it makes me think it is more of a Kyle Williams problem than a Maye problem. Not super worried yet as Evan Lazar has said multiple times watching the all-22 Williams is getting open but the connection just isn't there yet.
This has been the theme all camp into the season. Vrabel's said himself that Williams wins all the time of the line.. and he's comfortable with the offense. So it's definitely a cohesion thing with he and Drake. They need to stay after practice like Brady did with branch, givens.. to build a connection.

Olave and Kamara are two guys they'd definitely want to move on from if they can.

The issue is the compensation. A 3rd round pick for Olave is kind of borderline too high considering his injury history. They're waiting right now for some desperate team to give them a first, that's not going to happen (because you're not a GM).

It takes time. Look at Boutte as an example.
Boutte showed his rookie season he could play.. remember BB benched him essentially when we didn't keep his feet in bounds week 1 against eagles.. wich i could understand we had a historical offense in 2023..

KW have an Elite Release Package: he just needs to learn to be in the right spots. The little things.

Pop is a great mention. Hes pretty electric in open space, Williams probably can be too. Im really superised neither have gotten a chance yet especially since we are having trouble getting them the ball in the passing game

Well it's not all they needed.
They also needed professional coaches.
And they absolutely needed Stephon Diggs.

To sort of echo your theme, it's a team effort.
Agreed, I can’t remember the timeline, but I think we were voted “32nd worst weapons” after they acquired Diggs.

Not for nothing but coming off knee injury in his advanced age he was considered damaged goods… a good #2 or something.

We’d have to find that thread, be good for a laugh now.

Oh C'mon Tommy am I that bad??

Yes pop was doing in his rookie season and I think some last season as well? He could definitely take over at KR.. STs was lacking yesterday. You give any team the ball at the 35 or 40.. they are going to score. Williams too , agreed could also fit the bill. Maybe he should be given the opportunity?

He does. Wich is impressive.
And Drake is going to hit one of those deep passes.. be good to do it Sunday against Cleveland who plays aggressively

I heard they have one of those problematic Defenses. Good thing their Offense Stink.

They're paying it to the can down the road. The can that a lot of people say doesn't exist.

Yeah, their dead cap is crazy. I forgot they're still paying Jameis Winston too until I saw it. The Michael Thomas one might be the most crazy.

You wanted to give up a first round pick for Justin Fields.
You wanted to give up a first round pick and a player for Chris Olave. (it's a 3rd today)
You want to give up multiple first round picks and players for AJ Brown.
Nobody is perfect.

People are going to glaze that defense all week. Be prepared.

Nobody's going to mention 'Dillon Gabriel on the Road"

Did they think they had an eternal SB window?? Talk about short sighted.

They kept kicking the can down the road while Brees was still there. And in Cam Jordan and Michael Thomas (and to a lesser degree Kamara), they were 'legacy franchise players', and in a market like New Orleans, they'd revolt if you got rid of a fan favorite a year too early.

Back to Chirs Olave would you make a play yess or no??
