Reminds me of a quote of a woman who went to work in the Alaska oil fields back in the day.

She said "The odds are good, but the goods are odd!".

The odd thing is these women ARE looking for something odd, a man so lacking in critical thinking if not common sense that he'll commit himself to a life of Jete fandom not just for himself but for his kids and grandkids.

I suspect that in some cases -- at least, enough to perpetuate this ongoing crime against nature -- sufficient individual resources and other cultural factors are involved.

For funsies, I went and checked the Bills board (fun) and the Jest board (also fun, but damn, that board is dead these days...)...that team has killed their own fanbase.

If most of them could actually read, they'd be really sad to know just how historically inept they are.

Question for y'all: Do you think they should fire Glenn? I'm talking from a standpoint of if you actually cared for the JEST and wanted them to do well. (Horrifying thought, I know.)

The way I look at it is at some point you have to do something to stop the chaos and let players have some stability. So if I were Woody Johnson and I really thought Glenn was the guy and the players are still buying in I'd give him a public vote of confidence, telling the media that under no circumstances (save something crazy like Glenn gets caught molesting the cheerleaders or something) will I fire him for the next couple of years.

Also they don't have a QB so I don't know why anyone expects them to do anything. They got the Bears' sloppy thirds. Not even seconds.
