Have We Ever Had A Weaker Schedule; 2 games remain against teams in the top 20 (NFL PR).

I think the strength of schedule stat is BS. Teams fluctuate throughout the year. Atlanta looked like an easy game just a few weeks ago, but they’ve played well lately, their defense looks really good, Bijan Robinson and Drake London have played like studs, and Penix is playing better. I think they will give the Pats a tough game.

Carolina, after getting blown out by the Pats, probably looked like guaranteed wins for Miami & Dallas. That didn’t happen in either game.

I think this year, more than any year in recent memory, is the least predictable season. I’m actually worried about the Titan game. I know they look bad all year, but it’s a home game for them, they fired their coach, and there is no pressure on them. Pats SHOULD win, but you never know.

It's a Titans circle the wagons kind of game. Vrabel better have this team ready.

Tampa is somehow still sneaky underrated, but vulnerable.

I view this game as something as a litmus test for Maye. Baker Mayfield has been putting up monster numbers for 2.5 years and is finally getting rightful recognition as a high end QB. Can Maye hold his own in a hostile environment? Can he outduel another MVP candidate? I will not be shocked if he does, nor will I if we lose.

Gotta say, I'm not really impressed by their wins. I'll just throw that into the discussion.

Perfectly stated.

I also think Baltimore will be tough with Lamar back. It's in their building. And now...will Cincinnati suddenly be a tough game even if Burrow is on the sidelines? Flacco has a cannon with a generational type WR to throw to.

Patriots will get to ten wins imo. And that in of itself should be looked at as a success. Not winning the division doesn't mean they aren't on the uprise.

It doesn’t help the Titans that they fired at least a couple of the wagons and another resigned.

This doesn’t look like the typical case for a post-firing bounce.

Health and availability of key guys is really the only thing in the patiots way. With each game Drake gets better and better.. you can see it in him.. how he's mastering the offense and leading the team. It's always going to be whenever the Patriots don't beat themselves they can hang with anyone. The team has enough talent to compete and give anyone a good game. Every game in the NFL is a tough game especially on the road. I never looked at this season as an easy schedule... we lost week 1 to a LVR team.. look at them now.

No team is unbeatable.. TB included.
The ghost of BB still looms on the in-season coaching progression (and it should). The Pats under Vrabel are a lot different than BB's Pats teams, but the buildling out of the playbook, both on offense and defense, appears to be the same. It looks like the Pats are building, like in the BB years, with Sept. as an extension of the preseason, and then the balance of the offensive and defensive playbook is built out until Thanksgiving. The changes stop at Thanksgiving and an explosion happens from there onwards. It might seem like a simple thing, but the building of the team and playbook over the season, peaking at Thanksgiving, is very tough to do. BB laid the groundwork with Vrabel as a player and McDaniels as a coach. It looks like Vrable and McDaniels are following that path while being much more player centric.

Diggs said that Vrabel made him a believer. Veterans like Diggs are smart. I am excited. Rock on and rock hard. LFG.

Well said there One. That is very true what you speak. Vrabel and Josh both have the BB coaching DNA and principals in them. The best thing Vrabel did is what mayo should have done is leave the organization to gain other experiences at different spots around the league. This in fact helped Vrabel and Josh as well.

Vrabel has something he didn't have in Tennessee. A QB. That 2019-20 titans team was built tough and got what they could out of tannehll but the position was limited. I'm definitely excited for where the team is headed. Vrabel knows and understands his roster is still incomplete and evolving but he has enough to compete with primarily because of who he has throwing the ball.

We don't control who we play....just play whoever is in front of us....every team is a challenge and not a given.....
