I think McDaniels family like’s it in NE
I also think McDaniels is in his element being an Offensive mind.
He has been giving pretty much control of the Offensive side of the ball
We will have to pay him very respectively
But I don’t think he wants to go anywhere else

He's still getting $10M/year from the Raiders through 2028, minus whatever we pay him.
Anyone wanting to lure him with money will have to do better than $10M/year.

To me it's an open question as to whether or not he wants a HC gig.

Being the HC definitely strokes one's ego, but also comes with a lot more problems.

Given he's tried and failed twice as a HC (not to mention that Colts thing) I would think he won't want a third bite of the apple, but you never know.

OTOH maybe he realizes it's time to do what he's good at, being an OC, and letting Mike be in the hot seat while watching his bank balances grow.

Rodgers early in his career was actually not a bad guy. At least he wasn’t publicly showing what a turd he would become. It was later on that he went full diva.

Seemed that happened during his Danica Patrick era. That also was the time he stopped talking to his family. Sad.

Seems about right

It seems like Vrabel defers to him on offense, too, so he's essentially the head coach of the offense. I don't see him leaving for a long time.

I do, and I've said it multiple times. Crowden/Vrabel/Highsmith, and Vrabel technically with final say. Groh is a scout, and Wolf is there to answer phones and do media. The first three are totally fine with Wolf taking or not taking credit for things, because they don't care if he gets another job somewhere else or not. It affects them 0%.
Disagree. Wolf is the GM, but in the Patriots model he has a lot of help and participation from the other 3, and that help & participation has made a huge positive difference. Wolf has more experience in this domain than the others combined. The good thing for him and the team is he doesn't have a big ego and is glad to share power and responsibility. He described a case in last year's draft where they had a healthy disagreement about a certain prospect leading up to their pick, but aired it out and came to a consensus. He technically has final say but it's unlikely that they don't just come to agreement on things before that ever matters. I think Vrabel values him and v.v.

So u think if there was a disagreement on which player to take, and it was Wolf against Vrabs and others, that Wolf would actually have the “final say”? I do not. If he did, that’s one sure fire way to piss a HC off, a situation we’ve seen in the past with ours and other teams. That never ends well the long term relationship with a coach. Vrabs is obv way more important to our success than Wolf, I can’t imagine Kraft would allow a situation where Wolf could damage the relationship with Vrabs

Didn’t even think about the contract till 2028
Good point

I mean, you can disagree all you want. Your headcanon isn't reality.

Right now I look at the last 6 quarters of Drake Maye... and I ask myself this question, how much more can he improve? Assuming consistency how close are we to his ceiling?

When i look at his game only a few things stick out as potential areas. One is his manipulation of the defense. He does this already, but it could be better. The biggest one is being able to actually call a game under center. I practically never see him change plays at the line or manage the pre snap movement. I don't expect him to be Brady level here and this was his specialty, but looking at his game right now this is the single biggest thing i think he currently lacks. Not surprising as he is a young QB.
