Who? At what cost?

Swapping out Rham for an all-world RB fixes 1/3rd of the problem. The other 2/3rds are sketchy run blocking and facing the 3rd highest number of 8 man fronts per offensive snap in the league.
They aren't going to make a Madden Fantasy Football trade for a premier player, while giving up nothing. The Cult guys love to dream up this crap. My advise would be to not engage unless you're making fun of them.

I'd rather have Kamara to be honest if he's available. Henry suddenly looks like Marion Butts out there. Power back cliffs are usually pretty steep. Or a sneaky long-term maneuver getting Kenneth Walker.
I like either one.. also wouldn't say no to if Henry became a available either. We need for Henderson to be given expanded carries.. drafted him in the second round.. he's far more talented than what he's shown.. the Gibson injury really puts a damper on the RB group..

Well, since I'm still feeling cranky, why to people continue to think all problems can be solved with WR's; when we have bigger needs at RB, CB, S and edge. Now we are not going to make 4 trades, but I would much rather invest the cap and draft assets in any of those 4 areas than at WR.

Henry for a 4th...

If that's the plan hopefully Josh keeps calling them that way. That's not typically Josh's MO.
This might be Vrabel's influence.
They are still pretty balanced pass/run (30 vs 26 a game) and just a guess I think they are intentionally not trying to put too much on Maye but also ensure the D gets a breather and the running game gets reps to develop as the season goes.

Swapping RB talent won’t fix the other 2/3rds of the problem, so we won’t see any significant benefit.

Need to solve the more important problems first, even if they’re harder and not as sexy for fan appeal. Results are what count. Pats are past needing to appease fans by splashy player acquisitions. Leave that to the Jetes.

The only rookies Vrabel hasn't eased in has been purely because of need. Campbell and Woodson. (And Borg, obviously)

I thought I heard Curran say it is the highest number of 8 man fronts. Maye can cook through the air with so few DBs which he has been doing.

I have to think that has to change as our run game continues to do no damage.

Tommy: he's been good up to now: if he can stay healthy he would help them immensely. I would hate for him to go there: we saw what Diggs did for Allen.
But he won’t.

First, because they don't know **** about football. As I said to @RobertWeathers, don't engage. Second, to your earlier point...

Doesn't it just look right? The earth is back on it's axis.

Teams are, stunningly, 6 games into the season, running the same defenses that they ran against the Patriots last year.
I figured in today's day and age, teams would at least watch tape.
I guess they figured the Pats' short passing game could be stopped by loading up the box. But after the Saints game, other teams have to respect the long ball... unless they bought a ref or two.

And the Bills game. And the Carolina game.

Like I said to sb before, yeah, Josh wants 10-play, 8 minute drives. We know this, we all know this. He wants to hit wide open short stuff in the middle of the field, screens, run the ball some.

Remember, he was out of football completely for a year, he's still shaking off the rust with playcalling himself, and pushing the ball downfield a /lot/ isn't really his comfort zone.

Of all qualifying QBs, Maye is #4 in air yards per attempt. The dude is going downfield with it and hitting on them

Right, but it seems like it's taking a while for opposing teams to catch up.

Last time was after the Bills Wind game, and the Pats (9-4 with Mac) were also at the top of the AFC. Half of me is enjoying Run-The-Table vibes and the other half is still laughing at the thought that it was being established that Mac was the Franchise around that time.

Edit: If McD stayed, who knows what would've happened? That's the huge question. 7th in Red Zone TD% to Dead last the next year.
