I agree, but kind of a wimpy way to get out of a discussion where you are wrong. I did watch the playoff games, and the reason the Titans were eliminated was because of Tannehill. Yes he helped turn things around for the team like Tua did in Miami, but that's not what I'm looking for.

See below.....
Don’t mistake me not caring about a tangent with me being wrong. It’s wimpy to wait until then to come and try to falsely pretend you proved your point when you haven’t really disproven anything I said. You literally ignored 99% of the post to get to one part at the end where I said “I’m reading the room and this isn’t a worthwhile tangent”. That’s not a “me saying I’m wrong”

I don’t care enough about Tannehill to derail a thread, if you really want to continue this, you can take it to the DM’s or start a thread in one of the other forums. I’m happy to continue it there.

I also don’t think most people want to litigate this in a post game thread after a good win. Find a better venue

The original point relating to this thread was that you were highlighting Vrabel's defense for Tennessee's failings, and Maust nicely proved that when it counted the defense help up.

Blaming Vrabel's defense instead of the QB is plain wrong.

For folks complaining about Onwenu, it's worth noting that PFF has him ranked as a near top-decile guard - ranked 12th out of 106 guards overall and top-decile as a pass blocker. I understand that PFF is controversial, but their ranking of OL play is pretty objective and they look at every single snap, not just the bad ones. It's very easy to cherry-pick bad OL snaps and portray them as representative. And he's playing next to a center that was one of the worst pass-blocking centers last year and a right tackle that is on the downhill side of his career.

This is why PFF's """grading""" is complete and utter dogshit, and worthless.

Mike Onwenu is the worst player on that line, week in, week out.

It was even better than that. It ended the game and put us in victory formation instead of having to have another live snap where something might possibly have gone wrong.
Pretty amazing when you think about it. Refs were dodgy all night long. Vrabel's coaching acumen not only showed them up for being terrible refs, but also took away at least another four opportunities to screw us over. This sequence is now a part of his legend.

Im actually kinda pissed that those OPI’s probably stopped this from being an all timer from Maye.

It’s malpractice if we don’t start loading up around him. He’s the guy

We kinda have been doing that already, no?

#1 in FA spending for 2025...

But yeah, push those chips onto the table!

Best deep ball thrower.......Ever HAHAHA! I imagine the Diggs throw doesn't count?

NFL referee Adrian Hill and his officiating crew were suspended in early October 2025 following a controversial finish in an Eagles-Broncos game. The suspension was due to a series of controversial calls that were perceived to have negatively impacted the outcome of the game, though the specific details of the suspension have not been officially released by the league. Some reports incorrectly stated the suspension was for a bribery scandal involving match-fixing or that it was related to a different game involving the Raiders and Colts.

Fake news alas. The cite given in the original piece was to "Adam Schetfer" on Twitter.

Give it up to Stefon Diggs; he has been so instrumental in K Boutte's development. Boutte have 300yds already in just Six Games: he looks primed for a Big year. Drake Maye really trust him: the last Two WR's Drafted by BB is doing quite well for themselves. Who said BB can't Draft WR's?? Guilty *Left Hand up*.
Bill just drafted as an after thought and benched him .

Boutte developemenyt is solely on himself only, no bill or Maoyo can claim credit...

DM’d you because nobody wants this discussion clogging the topic

So for S Diggs low production this game relative to last two: ….
was he being doubleheader by the Aints ?
or just by 1 Ain’t & 1 Ref?

was unable to see whole game yet; just highlights. so I’m wondering if Nawlins made him athe object they were going to take away and if that is what then freed up Pop to finally make some play????

I don't know if Diggs even played 50% snaps in this one, and when he was there, McKinistry was on him most of the time. That's why Boutte and Douglas were open as much as they were.

Mike Onwenu is the worst player on that line, week in, week out.

Played every snap in the season so far and zero holding penalties, zero false starts, zero sacks allowed. Allowing around one hurry per game. Run blocking hasn't been good (particularly this last game), but that is often more a team and scheme thing.

The PFF OL numbers aren't perfect - the graders can't know the details of the blocking scheme and combo blocks. But they are largely correct and generally square with what the informed commentators say. Most pass pro blocks by guards are one-on-one, and it isn't hard to objectively measure success rate.

They seem to be slow rolling Diggs and only really utilizing him in “gotta have it” plays. But it’s undoubtedly that just having him on the field is a net positive because of how it frees up everyone else.

Mike learned a lot from his First go around. There's no substitute for Good Coaching. I wonder what Mayo's film room was like??

Did have the big 4th down conversion on the one-man route, precisely that type of situation.

I meant to say that I thought Vrabel and his staff did an excellent job managing the game yesterday. Don't know if we talked enough about that.
2 straight games where Vrabel's clock and game management was the difference in the ball game.

I'd like to know how Mayo would've responded in Vrabel's situation yesterday? The players would look to him how he wanted to manage the clock and he'd say to them "once you guys cross the white lines, there's nothing I can do". He's just the CEO anyways.
