Your tone might be harsh but your statements are bang on .

Onwenu
Rham
Hooper
Moses
Hollins
Dugger

Might need to be replaced

Williams and Henderson will probably be in because of draft status next year but will need to show more to be retained. I know they are rookies , but other rookies like skattebo and egbuka are performing. They can at least contribute to 25% of those rookies .

Campbell, woodson, Wilson ,borregales , farmer and Ashby are balling which is good.

Not sure how much cash we will have after extending Jones, gonzo , Boutte .

Pop is not getting a contract here and Stevenson will probably be on practice squad of some other team next year.
Yeah I was a little too salty in retrospect. Especially about Onwenu…it’s not his fault that Wolf is a fool and paid him what he did. It IS his fault that he shows up to camp out of shape annually and is STILL 30 lbs min overweight.

Dugger/Stevenson kind of similar in that it wasn’t on them that Wolf wildly overpaid.

But still ticks me off to have $50MM a year tied up in below average to bad players.

That said, they can dump all but Stevenson for cap savings this offseason.

Same for Ellis.

Stevenson would just be a “you have to eat that mistake” situation unless they can somehow restructure him and get him to stop friggin fumbling

Cube, we got done by the refs yesterday. No Vaseline.
Let me at em Tommy: let me at em...

Our RBs averaged 2 yds/carry today on 22 attempts against the 15th worst rushing D in the league.
Our RBs averaged 3.1 yds/carry on 19 carries against Buff, 3rd worst rushing D in the league.
You can't sugarcoat it or explain it away to "obvious" running situations.
Our rushing offense has been bad, like really bad.
I’m not sugar coating or explaining away anything. I’m adding context. The context is specifically that the issue is largely obvious running situations, and that amount of runs rather than success of runs is what correlates to helping the passing games
The last 3 runs when we couldn’t stop a run blitz in obvious run situations lost 7 yards. Overall 7 runs lost 18 yards. The other 15 averaged over 4 yards. Absent long runs running games are always under 4 ypc.
We ran for 122,119,104 against Miami, Pitt and Carolina.

This team, this season just needs the run game to keep the defense honest when it’s not successful and will have days it does well.

We DID have to use our mother****in' Drake Maye.

Also I don't think the Lakers beat the Supersonics, but I'll have to double-check that.
Love it Tommy!!! Boutte was down on bourbon street steady mobbing.. Drake is becoming the NFLs nightmare...

We know the Road to the SB is going through that Team... Kermit and company. After Them! the AFC is wide open anything can happen.
I am not so sure about that. They have already lost to the Chargers. The chargers are 3-0 in their division and I am so glad they won yesterday to keep the pressure on KC. With Indy, Jax ,Buff, Pitt and NE all sitting with at least 4 wins, KC might not even make the playoffs . (one can hope ). Denver also has 4 wins and those teams play each other. Denver and the Chargers can beat KC. I know there is a lot of season left but I do not think it is automatic this year for KC to win the division.

Plus my laptop is currently getting repaired and looking up stats on my phone is a *****

For the best, the playoff numbers won't further the cause and really neither of us truly GAF lol

Campbell was unable to reach his guy. It looked like he was in position, and the play was supposed to go behind him.

The play was over before Campbell's guy got there. At least Campbell made him re-direct. Onwenu's guy won instantly on a weak move.

KC could find themselves in a situation where they are a wildcard or have to win to get in.. they have championship pedigree in thier favor so hard to completely discount them. I believe more in Denver than I do chargers

True, however this year the playing field is more even. The last few years had only KC and Buff as true contenders and everyone else was second tier. This year teams like Indy and Pitts (yuck ), even the Pats are playing at a higher level and could be an issue for KC come playoff time .

I'm not convinced on Chargers and Broncos. I would say KC, BUF, Indy and Pitt are looking like the quality teams. I would still put the Ravens here if they were anywhere near healthy. Pats are more in the Chargers, Broncos, Jaguars level, which is not a bad thing. Happy to be there.

Onwenu with a terrible play but Campbell got stuck and couldn't reach his guy, Stevenson would've been stuffed anyway. Seems like a poor designed play to begin with.

The line needs to improve, but guys like Bradbury will never be great at it.

Agreed. This is exactly what we wanted to create under Vrabel re-establish the winning formula that has been missing post Brady. Showing that NE is a destination again. We will be surprised by the FAs that will want to come here especially on offense going forward.

I believe we will remain the 2nd place team in the division.. Buffalo will likely get us at home in a close game.. we sweep Miami and jets is always tough no matter what.. but we can sweep.. we need to compile as much conference wins as possible.. the NFC losses won't matter as much.
