I’m all for it..

4th rd pick and eat the salaryTrey Hendrickson is 31, coming off an injury, and is on the hook for 16 million in salary.
Oh, and he's a rental, he's a FA at the end of the year.
Chubb hasn't done Jack $h!t since he signed with Miami. The pats are squarely in the mix in a wide open AFC. Their win total is currently at 10.5. The move has to be EDGE to allow Chaisson to be a rotational player. They aren't getting enough pass rush on the edges. Chubb, Jordan & Van Noy are possible 1 year rentals. Jaelen Phillips is starting to play well the last few games coming off a season ending injury. He could be part of the solution longterm. Jermaine Johnson is similar although I'm not sure either team will trade them to a division rival.
Can they throw in Tee Higgins too?? It's said he wants to play for a Winner. This!
Pass rush and run blocking are our two biggest weaknesses right now.
I hope the run game will come around with what we have in-house, but adding an elite pass rusher could really put this team squarely in the SB mix, as crazy as that sounds.
He takes the football out of Bryce Young's hands too. They aren't giving him up unless they think there is no way he will resign with him in the offseason. He has run near 400 yards in the last two games, they aren't giving him up unless someone over pays to trade for him.
Bruh, I'm not giving up a 7th round pick for that kind of rental. ASSUMING he's actually healthy.4th rd pick and eat the salary
So if he was healthy you wouldn't give up a 7th?Bruh, I'm not giving up a 7th round pick for that kind of rental. ASSUMING he's actually healthy.
It sounds silly at first, and maybe it is. But if Lamar is out for any more time then they’ll be smart to trade Henry. MoreIf things continue south for Baltimore I’d inquire about Derrick Henry. Is he starting to slow down a bit from his peak, yeah. Is he still an upgrade running the football over Rham, yes he is.
Plus being a bigger back makes it tougher on opposing defenses when the weather turns.
AND take on that salary, as a rental? For a rotational pass rusher? So if he was healthy you wouldn't give up a 7th?
That's a pretty hot take.
The RBs need holes to run through. It sounds silly at first, and maybe it is. But if Lamar is out for any more time then they’ll be smart to trade Henry. More
Of a fear the goes to KC than here
I think Henry is shooting for the stars but they need a consistent RB
If he improves the team, which he would, who cares about the salary, it's a one year contract.AND take on that salary, as a rental? For a rotational pass rusher?
That's a pick swap at best, and the Patriots should be getting the better end of the swap. It's a salary dump.
Get Simmons and kick Williams outside. WIlliams can play anywhere on the DL and has a great attitude. Barmore and Simmons inside would be sick.I’d love either one, but that cap hit/dead money for Brown makes it almost impossible. Olave (concussions be damned) may be more feasible/cost effective. We need another difference maker at edge rusher to take this defense over the top. Unless we can acquire someone like DT Jeffrey Simmons. We’ll surely be in an arms race with SF for edge rushers.
