Content Post JETS SUCK 2025 EDITION (OFFICIAL): DIVINE INTERVENTION DENIED

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
Wow - the Jests OL gave up 9 sacks today

And that's an OL that is anchored on the left and right by two of the Jets top draft picks for the last 2 years.

Aaron Glenn made a massive mistake binning Rodgers and going with Justin Fields.

Bringing back even an old washed Rodgers would have got him enough wins and at least looked competent enough to get a chance to get a real long term QB solution, this is going so bad he's at risk of getting Jerod Mayo treatment, they literally can't throw a forward pass 45 yards passing with 55 yards lost in sacks is an abomination you can't survive a season full of those even if it's the Jets.

Honestly, his best move would have been to take whatever offer Woody put on the table and shown it to the Lions, and asked how close they could come to the numbers. He simply isn't HC material, and I don't see Woody letting him be HC of the NYJ next season. Hell, he probably doesn't make it till the end of the season.

As for Ahole vs Field Mouse, I agree Ahole is a higher level QB but that OL I doubt Ahole would last more than a couple games.

If nothing else der Maus helps them get that #1 Overall Pick. They already have a one-loss lead over the rest of the league, with an extra loss in-hand.

That doesn't help Glenn at all, but see above, he set himself up to fail.

I still can't believe that (1) there were people paid to pontificate about the pigskin who thought the Patriots should trade for Fields instead of drafting whichever of Daniels/Maye made it to #3, and (2) some of those idjits even thought Fields was worth trading down from #3 to #9 for.

Tomlin might have his problems... but trading bums for top dollar ain't one of em.

I don't think the Jete OL is as bad as it has been looking -- at least, personnel-wise. Fields can't read defenses and holds the ball way too long. Sometimes when he gives up on a pass play and tries to run, he runs right into the pass rush. Bad coaching + awful quarterbacking = 0-6. If they play Taylor instead they actually might eke out a couple wins and probably would look better losing.

Aaron Glenn was offered the opportunity to interview for the Pats HC spot and turned them down. This was after Vrabel had interviewed with the Jets even though he clearly didn’t want to go there either. Methinks Glenn will be lucky if he ever gets another HC interview opportunity.
