Stevensons is a 9m a year pass blocker, he's basically a 3 YPC back with a fumble every 2 games over a 20 game sample size.

No idea why people continually parrot "don't run the ball" when you're up and: the run sets up the offense, the pass wins the game.

Even if it isn't working, you never want to concede to an opponent "Hey, I'm gonna make it so instead of having to respect the run, you can just defend the pass and know what we're gonna try and do every time."

This is why even small changes in run/pass snap percentages are a big deal when your an offense that is close to its match in every game. This is how the OL learns to run block.

They need to learn much faster

If we could somehow scheme to get any pressure on the quarterback and spy him as a back up, that would be a huge improvement

A 9 point lead and also a loooong breather for the defense. The Saints offense barely ran one snap on their last drive before the half, and now they've still been off the field all through halftime and now 7 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Patriots defense probably hasn't played in almost a half hour plus.

It was a cluster**** but I take that as part of the growing pains chapter. Better in a game like this in week 6 than ahead in the season in a crucial game. We are playing good football, not perfect.

Hnads and quicks. One of Diggs, Boutte, Chism, Henry and Rham should be able to cake walk in from 3yds out if the D is spread wide.

They are just seriously lacking the correct type of RB for short yardage. I don't know why they don't sign someone, there's several guys on practice squads around the league that can fill that role.
