2025 / 2026 College watch thread

Penn St. loses again.

I gave Indiana a good chance. They are well-coached and disciplined.

Oregon disappointing.

Congrats Indiana. The hardest games remaining on their schedule are UCLA and at Penn State. 12-0 incoming?

Mendoza gets a pass from me. Not his best day, and an ugly INT, but a gutsy recovery and road win under tough conditions.

Moore faded under pressure.

Indiana outplayed Oregon, their defense was dominant.

If Allar falls to the 6th-7th round, he would make a good developmental backup QB for Drake Maye. Josh can develop him, then the Pats can trade him in 3 years.

Good shout.

Patriots had two scouts at the Mizzou-'Bama game. I don't normally pay attention to where the scouts are but it's more interesting when two show up.

Well it's about time.
Well, even a broken clock can make like a tree and get out of here twice a day... or something.

Also, USC guy to watch imo is safety Kamari Ramsey - Safety. He seems to currently be right in that 2nd round range for us. Sounds like more of a FS, but I'm still curious. Lemon and Lane too at WR of course. But they may be slightly more obvious guys to watch, but safety is just as big a need imo.

That's my approach, too.

Great post. Thanks.

Kamari Ramsey has largely been playing in the slot this year. Bishop Fitzgerald is their FS. Just FYI.

Well that's good actually. Looks like from what i read they had a bunch of injuries. If it lowers his draft position all the better for us. Clearly he isn't home in the slot, but doing his best.

Was wondering when something like that was coming.

I hear rumors that you like some citrus-based WR out of USC, too. Please confirm.

Just balancing out the Arvell Reese posts. Watching the USC game for my Lemon Fizz but Ja'kobi Lane has been getting all the targets.
