Next Gen Stats does this by week, so I just took their images and merged them to show all the throws for the year. A LOT of green on this chart.
What this chart shows me is that he is comfortable with any throw on the field. It doesnt look like he favors anything beyond the line of scrimmage. Obviously the left side behind the LOS favors the left because of having Campbell over there.

Would like to see some 40 and 50 yarders to Kyle Williams.
I don't disagree but since early on in the season we have heard things from Vrabel and Josh indicating if your first read is open take it and get positive yardage. I think more times than not that's the short to intermediate routes early in his progression through the plays. Also I still don't think the line is performing in a manner that he has a ton of time in the pocket to let things develop as much as they could.

He will go for the bigger gains, though, if he strongly believes he can get the pass off (e.g., that last pass to Boutte).

I'm seeing the same thing. Even distribution.

And sure we'd all like a couple of deep bombs mixed in but it's not like we have a deep threat. Drake's using everything he has and spreading it around nicely.

On Brand.

Ian's Stat sheets rival the Next Gen stuff... recommend you check them out... Some real good information here...

When you toggle the Receiving Direction Totals, you get a full break down of the passing attempts for all six classifications... Can do the whole season, various multiple games or a single game, all sortable by down and/or quarter...

So we all agree, he sucks. Lose all games for rest of season and aim high for first pick in draft.

There's a reason I ignore the Twins.
Tiring nonsense, everyday, ALL DAY.

FK that ****.

Every pass play call by every team dictates if your first read is open take it.
More deep throws aren’t a result of QBs refusing to do their job, they are the result of more play calls with deep primary targets. (Or more cases of receivers not being able to get open on short to deep progression plays)

More deep throws is not a qb thing, it’s a play calling thing.
But play calling (and progression designation) is also impacted by how teams choose to defend.

No doubt and from Josh's history with team his play calling thrives in the short to intermediate plays.
