JETS SUCK 2025 EDITION (OFFICIAL): DIVINE INTERVENTION DENIED

True. What deep existential desperation drove you there?

A 1999 Subaru Outback.

But seriously, Jete fans are a genetically mutated breed apart. Imagine Doctor Moreau's experiments multiplied by the thousands, adolescent chimpanzee/hyena hybrids or semi-concussed refugees from a derailed circus train; in that context, Jerry Jones' gesture was an essential sign of self-respect.

I've attended multiple Patriots games there dating back to old Giants Stadium. Instances of abuse, disrespect and abject embarrassment were many. And that's just from the parking lot to the stadium. Trying to watch the game dodging peanuts flung from 10 rows back amidst incoherent chatter from an over-cologned, wife-beater/gold chain-garbed guido seated next to you brings new meaning to "cruel and unusual."

Giants fans, by stark contrast, are normal folks who understand the game. Hard to believe the same building is home to both.

"Semi-concussed refugees from a derailed circus train" is outstanding! Maybe you need the JETE to release your creativity ...

Nice to see this thread up and humming along again, For a while, it seemed as if we rather than the Jets were going to be the little girl lost in the dark woods. In the the end, though, the Jets deathwish has reasserted itself and the universe is restored to its proper order. I wonder what it's like inside the mind of a Jets fan: it must be awful. I should feel sorry for them, I suppose, but I'm just not that compassionate or noble.

Obviously, Aaron Glenn was praying. Coach Glenn is a man of faith, and this is what I think he was saying.

"Oh Lord, if it be Thy will that Thy servant should walk the path of suffering, then will I bear it with dignity. But you do realize, Lord, that in just a short while I will have to stand in front of the New York sports media and take responsibility for this fiasco? What is worse, I will have to pretend that I have the faintest idea of how to fix it. So Lord -- I ask this in all humility -- do you think you could see your way clear to a power cut?"

If they are 0-8, I think management may pull the trigger and fire him. The pre mature dancing against the Buccaneers was the most embarrassing and unprofessional thing I've ever seen a HC do. It really doesn't matter who takes over for this season. The organization needs to clean house.

It's a paradox. It's possible to clear out what's inside a house. But what if the basic problem is the house itself?
It's the ownership as well who need to sell. They had brief success with Parcells who had full control, but were dysfunctional since aside from two years of Rex Ryan.

Exactly. And maybe they could change the name and move from New York to get away from their toxic fanbase ...

and every week they start threads about the upcoming opponent, talk about who's up and who's down, trade possibilities, etc. Just like fans of a real football team - just to get kicked in the nuts on Sunday. Then spend the day ranting and raving on Monday, swear off the team forever, threaten to become a fan of the Giants, etc., etc. By midweek the tide has turned, they renew their delusion, and rinse and repeat for yet another week..

Strange, to me the look on his face is just like one on a dog's face as he's pinching a loaf on someone's lawn.

Aaron Glenn is a human Rorschach Test.

Sources close to Jerrah Jones say he feels it was worth the quarter million bucks to flip off the Jete fans.

They also report he's planning to 'inadvertently' adjust his athletic supporter while leaning out from his booth the next time his team faces da Jete.

At a future Jete game, he's also preparing for a 'belt malfunction' after he stands up and turns away from the crowd.

Jerry should use the “reflex action” defense.

Flipping the bird is a normal reaction when watching the Rats.

It takes someone completely in control of their emotions not to.

Went to both games at Giants stadium in '07, opening day versus Jets and week 17 v Giants.Could not agree more. Jets fan were throwing crap while Giants fans were respectful and you could talk football with them. Jets fan looked like parole officers sent their charges for a get together.

This toddler is guessing NFL team names and records based on the team’s logo. The reaction to the Jets proves even babies know the truth.

Then there's this:

We can see the consternation that the Bills fans have now that they see their opportunity to win a SB diminishing with Allen now that they are no longer the undisputed owners of the of the AFC East let alone the AFC.

But how about a moment of silence for the Rats?

They had to watch the Pats dominate for 20 years, and just 5 years later they have another young franchise QB, while the Rats continue their franchise QB drought.

I guess you could say he was communicating on their level.
