Snap counts from buffalo . gonzo, davis, hawkins, and woodson got nearly all snaps. Marcus 76%. Ellis is still out there more than id like 54%. Dugger only one snap

Diggs only 50% and still put up those #s lol

Meyers would be sitting behind Boutte.
He's better and would be a walking First Down with Diggs. Meyers knows how to get open way better than Boutte who I really like.

Kyle Williams 10 snaps is criminal.

IF A Hooper was used primarily as a Blocker he didn't block well. Good thing Maye can run.

Official (cbs so sortof) box score says Maye had 22 passes on 30 attempts.
Plus 3 Rushes that could have been pass plays (i forget)
gets us up to 33.

Still not 40, so your point valid..... but need to count all the attempts .
Maybe they are counting plays invalidated/re-done by penalties.

But buyer beware with internet data.
30 official attempts.
3 rushes as you said.
4 sacks.
1 DPI
1 illegal contact
1 offsetting penalty (DPI plus holding on Campbell himself).

40 dropbacks.

Love Jacoby, but what kind of money is he looking for next year? If its 20m or more we’re better off going after a true deep threat and im Not interested in a rental unless we’re talking a pick swap or something.

3 years 33 mill for him should have been a no brainer in 23. But if we did more of the no brainers the last few years we’d have never gotten Drake

Outside of N'Keal is there a receiver you don't like?

Couple observations from checking OTC:

-2026 cap space numbers have been updated to include rollover from this year and we have around 53m which ranks us 10th. About half of those teams ahead are actually good teams and i haven’t bothered to check how many players they need to resign but id imagine its alot more than marcus jones and chiasson

- Some opportunities to be increase spending by releasing some contracts - dugger 8 mill savings, ellis 5 mill savings. On the fence - onwenu 17.5 mil savings, possibly if we have a great fa target or can snag one in the draft.

- We wouldn’t save anything cutting rham next year what a ****ty contract that turned out to be
Agreed. Those contracts ownenu, Dugger, rham for example were given out primarily due to all the heat the organization was getting for being last or near it in cash spending if you remember.

Plus no one wanted to come here.. we wined and dined guys and they still didn't sign here. In past off seasons.

The drafting is the exact reason why we had to pay guys. Furthermore pursuant to the NFL CBA and NFL rules teams have to spend a certain amount of cap space. So all that combined is basically why we gave guys contracts. Of course as your a well informed poster you know this as well.

Very true, i just wish rham’s was structured in a way where we weren’t basically stuck with him another year unless we just accept the sunken cost and move on .

Yes, rham is a good back and is very well liked. He just needs to get the fumbles out his DNA. It's issues that are 100% correctable. I think we likely take a back in the 3rd or 4th round next draft.

The problems seem to go beyond the fumbles though wouldn’t you say? Hes looked completely average the last couple seasons other than Cincinnati last year and miami this year. Hes not the guy he was in 22 and its not like our OL was great that year. Hopefully Vrabels approach works and his patience pays off because we need more out of him. Not sure if he is in his own head but something is off, everytime they show his face he looks like he just got off a 14 hour flight sitting next to Aaron Rodgers

And Remember they wanted WR Chris Godwin Jr in FA too. Diggs and Godwin would have been a nasty combo: what might have been.
Sorry, that never would have been, ever.
If we landed Godwin for $30M a season, we weren't signing Diggs....ever.
It worked out however, Diggs has been awesome and is still getting better!

I don't think that we would have pursued Diggs if Godwin signed here, I think it was one or the other. I have loved Diggs since I saw him in college. So I am glad it worked out the way it did, I had high expectations for Diggs but he is honestly surpassing what I imagined.

I figured thats Pats would be 3-2 at this point in the season. Honestly though their play has been much better than I expected on offense. I gotta tip my cap to Marone(I hate doing that), McD has really tweaked his scheme for Maye and its beautiful.

I am still expecting growing pains and dumb plays throughout the rest of the season, but am hoping they will be limited. In my eyes Maye really made strides against the Bills, but this thing is still a work in progress. This team severely lacks depth so injuries would really change the landscape of the season.

NESN stirring the pot.

I saw an article or you tube video asking who deserves more credit, Vrabel or Maye? Are we doing this again? Why does it have to be one or the other, I am firmly in the camp of its everyone that deserves credit. Without McD, who knows if Maye improves and without Maye does McD's offense have legs. Same goes for Vrabel.

I saw some posters discussing Herbert as this top QB. Herbert is a talented QB but I believe he's already reached his potential.
We would be a playoff favorite if Herbert played for us.

The chargers' management is really bad.
