LMAO at Colts going for 2 to get to 40. When the Pats “ran it up” everyone cried
To this day i still don't get the "running it up" cry baby's. What better time to practice a teams "go for 2 " package in live game conditions, than when a game is already won?

I think the Jets have a legit shot at 0-17

Oddly, they played quite well towards the end and showed a bit of fight. I don't want them not to be terrible, but I don't want them to have the No 1 pick either.

No, I was told he was good, that the Pats should have tried to acquire him when he was floated out there. I said it was dumb, but some people equate to good runners to good QB’s.
Trading for Fields tended to sound like "NE solving Chicago's problem" rather than solving their own QB issue.

I don’t see any franchise QBs being available, so I’m not sure top picks going to matter

Only one undefeated team left, hopefully after tonight, there are not any

Nix already has four 4thQ or late game winning drives. Our dude's still looking for the first one. Tonight's the night, baby!

You were right to doubt him. Very much right.

This Lions offense is so fun to watch.

I think people put too much emphasis on QB leading late game winning drives. Not all late game winning drives are the same. If Nix didn’t play like crap for most of this game, the Broncos would have been in the lead in the fourth quarter today. If the Eagles had an consistent offense, they would have blown out the Broncos today.

Taking the lead in the fourth quarter after your offense didn’t do anything for most of the first three quarters shouldn’t be a huge plus for the QB.

It is one thing when a QB is playing well for most of the game and then has a big boy drive to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. It is totally different when both offenses can’t score and other defense just seems to have worn down.

That LV loss we had looks even worse now!

Nah! The first week of the season have a lot of aberrations. The Pats beat the Bengals last year. And the Pats looked like they may be a decent team doing it.

Other win or loss and injuries, you can throw everything out about what happens in week one of the season. There are good teams that have head scratching losses and bad teams that have decisive wins

Eagles fans and announcers said this was the worst officiated game in the past 30+ years.

Running it up in pro football is the dumbest thing ever, you’re literally paid to stop them.

Keep scoring if you want to.

Plus many players have incentives in their contracts. Imagine losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in incentives because your team is too good, and you have to consider "sportsmanship".

Really bad teams right now:

New Orleans
Jets
Giants
Carolina
Tennessee
Las Vegas

Baltimore at the moment, without Lamar
Cincinnati at the moment, without Burroughs
Cleveland (getting better)

On the bubble:

Chicago
Atlanta

Not that Good

Arizona
Denver
Dallas
Houston

The best part: I'm pretty sure we're not a really bad team anymore. Will know more in 8h.

Agree with all . . . except Denver.

Broncos defense is one of the best in the league, by any metric. 2nd in points allowed, 1st in fewest touchdowns allowed, 7th in yards/play, 8th in yards/game.

On offense the passing game is meh, but they do average 5.1 yards per carry, and the OL doesn't give up many sacks.

In the current NFL, that can carry a team well into the playoffs.

Los Angeles Gatorade vs Washington Golden Gophers

LOL! Monty Throws a TD.

Wow,, Browning is horrid.

I discovered today Eric Collins
He is now my favourite announcer
Awesome !!! what an energy

Bengals gotta move on from Zac Taylor. I said he was their ceiling the year they were bound for the SB. Even in their hottest year, he just had questionable approaches and management to crucial games.

He ain't it and if the Bengals are gonna make the most of those massive contracts, they need to pay for a better HC and DC. That team has a lot of potential and it's being wasted. That OL is AWFUL and has had more reasons and time than even the Patriots to get it fixed.

I almost feel like Taylor has gotten worse.

Also I was pretty confident they'd move on from Mixon easily and someone kept annoyingly saying I was wrong, maybe @Triumph or @Tunescribe (I swear it started with a T lol) and, welp, you were right. Annoying, but right
