Yep - and they already were the worst ranked D in college before this game.

Should have gone for it on their first posession although nothing Max Johnson can do if the D doesn't do their job.

These are mostly BB guys - although mostly transfers so not exactly the cream of the crop to begin with - there's a few freshmen he recruited too. So it's a bit of a Frankenstein team in general - but very much Bill's Frankenstein.

Reasonable people know this is a multi-year rebuild (not even a re-build as they have no recent football culture) - but this is still not a good look for what had been considered one of the greatest Defensive minds in football.

Bill signed a bunch of terrible players, it's impossible to tell if he can still coach or not and has been for 4 years since his player acquisition is so awful he doesn't give himself a chance.

The same thing that doomed him with the Patriots has doomed him again, Friends, friends kids and other cronies all over the staff, Mike Lombardi has no business being a GM he knows nothing about what roster you need to be competitive in the ACC.

If Bill really wanted to be successful he would of hired a proper GM with knowledge of the situation in the ACC not his buddy.

I think BB thought that coaching college kids was going to be easier than coaching the pros.

He's discovering that you can't exactly work too many mid-season trades for future draft picks and cull the free agent market during the season.

They guys he has are the guys he has and these are his guys - and they don't even seem to have fundamentals like tackling down.
