Bad rookie year - might be a bust
Bad 2nd year - could be a bust
Wolf and company liked him - absolutely, guaranteed, no doubter that this WR is a bust
All signs do point to bust. Not really interested in the guy but I wouldn't be surprised if the front office makes a call.

Maybe we can trade Tyquan for him. OH damn .....

Let's go a little crazy...

Budda Baker - AZ Cardinals. Why? Well it be a massive upgrade at safety. I think we've seen enough of Hawkins. As for why AZ may do it? Maybe they are thinking of a rebuild with Murray not likely being the guy. They are a tiny bit against it cap wise, not super against it... but if they want to rebuild this is the start of the moves they make. His contract becomes big the next 2 years. He will be turning 30 in about 100 days so if they want to get value out of him, now is the time.

Why would the Patriots do it? Cause Baker is still one of the best at his position. While he will be 30 soon... safeties can play well into their early 30s... so even in the 26, 27 and 28 seasons he can still be probowl level more or less during the Maye rookie contract window. They have the cap space to absorb it and are clearly unhappy with their safety play. They will also be dumping Dugger next year one way or another. So will be saving at least 8M if not more if they trade him or time the cut. Or we can send Dugger their way and eat a fair amount of his cap this year as part of the deal along with a draft pick.

Pats send Dugger a 2nd and eat 9M and we get Baker. The only downside is AZ is currently 2-2, but going by past performance they can't feel good about their playoff chances. They have Titans Colts and GB... assuming they go 1-2 they will be 3-4 and then the bye before playing Dallas on Nov 3rd.. if they lose that game at 3-5 they are likely out and may be looking to deal.

You can take that #1 off the list now.

Only one I’d see as possibly interesting is #7. Winston instead of Dobbs gives me a better feeling that this season is not a throwaway.

In other news goblin's a ****: and don't even bother to respond prick.

The NFL trade deadline is November 4th @ 4pm. Would we be interested in acquiring someone like a Mazi Smith from Dallas? Young talented DT/NT. Or maybe a Cam Jordan from New Orleans; vet who could upgrade our edge rush a bit & wouldn’t be too expensive due to his age/contract. I’d love a Jaelen Phillips, but he’s both oft injured & in our division, which makes highly unlikely Miami deals with us. CB, OL?? Do we stand pat & continue to build through the draft/FA?…

I think we’re too far away from true contention to be trading draft assets for 2025 rentals. If a younger player who can help in 2026 and beyond somehow becomes available, that I would think about. But who is that? Ok, Breece Hall, but there’s no way the Jets are trading him to New England.

You trade real draft assets for the Sanus and Emmanuel Sanders of the world when you have a legitimate shot. If we continue to progress and our schedule is as soft as it appears, it’s certainly possible we can make the playoffs but other than the “any given Sunday” aspect we’ll be one-and-done to a much more complete team. We need the draft assets for next year so that we can potentially get ourselves in position to be a legitimate contender next year.

We wouldn't be giving up a lot for his services. Also we have to take in consideration the Bryce Young angle. I would kick the tires if they plan to move on.

Cameron Jordon seems content with being in the graveyard for NFL players. Too me, it's a red flag when guys are content with staying with an organization like the Saints. He needs to hang them up.

Hill is staying. Way too much dead money.
Gimme leggette young and talented player. I saw enough of him last season to like him. He's playing with a dwarf QB who isn't getting better. Terrible owner in tepper... leggett is still on his rookie deal.. perfect opportunity. Pop and a 6th... do it Cowden!..

Have you seen polks rookie year?

Polk had the majority of his yards at Week 4 last year. Dude had no chemistry with a Real QB Drake Maye.

His whopping 79 yards.. to his defense Bow n arrow man threw at the numbers on the back of his jersey instead of front..

Patriots fans like us in glass house can't throw stones about another team potential bust.. we are wr bust central
Some would say no we're not: you know them. They'll find anyway to spin it: spin doctors. I can't wait for Bourne to give the Organization the finger on social media: if he hasn't already.

I agree 100%.. look at jonu Smith another example..

Yup. Wolf and company thought Polk would be great. More evidence that Wolf's scouting is the kiss of death.
Vrabel ,Cowden, Highsmith will be running the drafts from now on..
