When do you think the Patriots will be SB Contenders?

If they beat the Bills this Sunday, we will start talking about it immediately.

Chargers are cooked. Denver is as advertised (mediocre), Baltimore is imploding. All these teams are keeping the window back open for your Chiefs.

I think Denver will get better as the season goes on. No idea what to make of Pittsburgh currently. Seems like it’s the Bills year.

They are my pick coming out of the AFC this year.

As for the Pats... keep building this thing. They might be special in a couple of years if all goes well.

I really think this next offseason can be one where we will go out and fortify the depth. I don’t think depth is something that takes that long to build if you can pair a smart FA with another good draft.

The defense now has blue chip pieces, it maybe just needs one more out at safety. Also figuring out someone who can be a capable coverage LB that can also tackle.

After that, it really needs more capable depth at LB, CB. I think we can solve ghat pretty easily through day 2/3 and FA.

Offensively, I think the main goals are to fortify a couple OL starting spots (along with continuing to bolster depth) and figure out a true WR1.

We check those boxes, and this team is ready to contend.

I think we're a few things away: a good mlb, a big cutdown on penalties, and Maye just proving that he is who he has been. A big #1 X receiver would be nice. But ultimately we'll be contenders when we prove we can compete with the best teams in football. Got a chance to do it Sunday night.
