5 turnovers. Stevensons turnover machine. Maye with a pick and fumbles. I don’t know what else to say. This team is absolute trash. I pray for a first overall pick.

Defense started horrible but played their hearts out afterward. Offense didn't deserve to win with 5 turnovers. Rham doesn't learn and is what he is at this point.

Defense still needs to tackle better.

The Panthers are looking at that thinking "it's only the Patriots, should be a win" just like we are for them.
Correct. Every time we look at our schedule and circle wins fans of the other team are doing exactly the same.

I'm not overreacting to anything this early. This is basically preseason football. Maye throws a tight accurate ball. Yes, he does mental mistakes and hero ball. Good news, this can be corrected. The kid is friggin 23 years old. I've watched 40 years of football, he''s talented and mental mistakes can be corrected, so I won't hurl myself off of a high building just yet. Rham is a fumble machine and needs to be benched, period. We easily could have won thus game but turnovers killed us. This can hopefully be fixed as the season rolls on.
The fumble was really the only heroball moment I saw.

This is probably a top 5 most aggravating regular season loss we’ve had. Might a knee jerk reaction, but not far off.

That many turnovers is completely inexcusable. Full stop.

I don’t think I’ve been this ANGRY about a regular season loss since the Mortar Kick Game against Philly in 2015. I’m sure I’m forgetting something more recent but that’s what comes to mind.

What will they do with Stevenson? I'm guessing he stays but Gibson and Henderson play.

Lots of dumb football. I anticipate seeing new inactives next week. I’m not sure the Bills were trying to give last years final game to us as hard as Pitt was trying to let us win this contest.

Sucks to lose to another pretty bad team. We really should have been able to score at will on that defense. Run game continues to disappoint in a huge way.

On the bright side its a competitive team, despite 5:1 turnovers they still coulda won. But 5 turnovers is also a pretty big negative too.

Try and survive in Carolina before the buffalo thumping. I said before id take 2-3 heading into week 6 and still feel that way. Gonzo coming back soon

5 TO,s !!!!! Who can win like that?
It seems that we can’t win these days at home. So frustrating to watch this team . If Vrabel does not address the fumble and penalty issues soon, then he is not the coach I thought he was!!

- The Rham fumbles. I don't know that any other HB in the league fumbles either time, let alone both. Looked way too easy to separate him from the ball. Nothing crazy from the defenders, no fluky punch, just a soft grip. Giving him goalline carries is irresponsible at best.

- By contrast, the Gibson fumble was 100% a great play by Peppers.

- Douglas is absolutely frustrating to watch. Can't wait for Williams and Chism to leap Hollins and Douglas.

- The passing game clicked for the most part. I'll wait for KCSVEN and others to break it down but there were a lot of big boy throws by Maye (to go with the mistakes).

Stevenson alone is 80% responsible for this loss.

That said, turning the ball over FIVE TIMES as a team is just pathetic. And you might as well count Douglas’ terrible effort on the final play as a turnover too.

Not what I expected from a Vrabel coached team.
The one development I was hoping for this year was to "Stop the Stupid". With Vrabel, I had every confidence that would be the case. Man, am I disappointed so far.

We all know the negatives so here's my glass half full take...

Seemed to move the ball on O fairly easily compared to last season.. IF we fix the RB fumbles our O could actually be fairly good later in the season.

D played pretty well, some harsh calls against them early on, should get Gonzo back next week too.

Drake continues to show he's got a bright future, he shouldn't have to be putting this entire team on his back at his age - yet he did it last week and almost did again today. RB room really has to help him out so he feels ok to take sacks.

Also 5 fumbles and nothing bounced our way - cmon man!

Whatever happened to forward progress calls?

Henry didn't make the 1st down but he got pushed back 2 yards, and they spotted it where he was tackled.

I mentioned this BEFORE the Douglas play but in that situation, an entire yard makes a huge difference.

I've noticed this quite a bit in recent games.

They dont call forward progress anymore. Now it's where you are tackled.

This one was dificult to accept and swallow. I understand that it wouldn't be easy to get to playoff spot or at least to be in a fight for it, but I would expect some kind of improvement.

We aren't doing the fundamentals right. Everything else is irrelevant.

So disappointed.

I think ceiling for this team this year is 5-6 wins

Diggs must regret signing here. Ill ask again: why the **** are we going to Douglas twice on that final drive?
